A stairway leads down the riverbank, offering direct access to the Nestucca River—great for fishing, kayaking, wildlife watching, or just dipping your toes in the water on a warm day.

One of the unique features of Nestucca Sunrise is its flexible layout. The property was previously configured as two separate homes, so it includes two fully equipped kitchens and multiple gathering spaces. Neighborhood:
Sunset Avenue is a quiet street located between the Nestucca River and the Ocean that stretches south from the middle of Pacific City on the beach, and leads directly into Bob Straub State Park. A low bank sandy beach slopes to the ocean from the oceanfront homes. Also off of Sunset Avenue you will find what is commonly known at The Boat Landing, which along with a boat ramp is one of the best fishing holes in the area. Certain times of the year, you will find fisherman catching huge spring and fall Chinook Salmon.

Cancellation Policy:
1/2 the total cost of the booking is subject to forfeiture if reservation is canceled or changed within 30 days of arrival. 100% of rental rate is charged if cancelled (or no-show) within 14 days of arrival. If the house is fully rebooked by another renter, cancellation charges (less $35) will be refunded. Reservation cancellation fee is $35. (If you book with a 3rd party, different charges may apply).

Occupancy Note:
Occupancy rules are strictly enforced and apply to the entire property during the stay. Additional day-use guests may be allowed with management pre-approval. After your booking is confirmed, you will be sent the full rental contract and terms.

    This house was perfect for my family! I just wish the back house wasn’t attached to the main house at all. The room attached to the master suite needs to be a bedroom, maybe a futon or seemed to be waisted space. I love that we had a doe come everyday. It was just a 5 min walk to the beach was awesome!!!!

    Right on the river! We watched the deer come up to the deck daily, pelicans fly in and out, landing in the river many times a day, along with the sea gulls. The house is set up a little strange since it can be rented as two. It has two kitchens which is always nice. It is a quick walk to the beach! We enjoyed our time there and would go back!

    This property is ideal for large groups. The location was beautiful and the layout is not well portrayed by the photos. This is more like two houses connected by a locked door in one of the rooms. The cut through in a main room is awkward but there is a very convenient outside door between the two houses. The place is private and relaxing. The location ideal. The house was clean and easy to entertain ourselves with the deck BBQ. As others noted the big double wide bed in the cut through looked secured underneath by crates and is in need of a normal frame and bed size. However, all that being said this property was amazing and we had a great time. Thank you for hosting us.

    We wanted to get away for a week and this large house that was somewhat maze like worked perfectly for our family to find a quiet place to work and attend online school. The location is great being right on the Nestucca River and there are two entrance points to the beach that are easily walkable. Also, the house is only a 4 minute drive to Pelican Brewery, the grocery store, and everything that Pacific City has to offer. There are two reasons why I am not giving this rental 5 stars - 1) Three of the beds had sand in them upon arrival, which leads me to believe that the sheets were not changed prior to our arrival and the kitchen cabinets were dirty. I suggest the property manager make upgrades to the cleaning protocol in between guests. 2) I noticed shortly after checkin that the king bed was broken and not usable. I called to have this issue resolved and it was not resolved until the next day. The handyman's fix was to put a plastic crate under the middle of the bed for support and this, surprisingly, worked fine for our stay, however, I hope the property manager considers getting a new bed.

    Very clean new home recently added for rental in summer 2020. Lots of room for our group of 12 with two kitchens and fridge to store our beers :-) Love the area and walking distance to Cape Kiwanda State Park (30 mins walk). 5 mins walk to beach access. Lots of great times at beach for our kids. Would definitely rent this home again! Loved it! -Justin T
