11 Cartgate is a wonderful vacation rental located in Palmetto Dunes on Hilton Head Island, SC. It is 3 bedrooms/2.5 baths and is on the 11 mile lagoon system, which is perfect for kayaking and watching nature.

When entering the home straight in front of you is the main living area with hardwood floors, high ceilings, and access to the screened-in porch. A dark blue couch with chaise, two armchairs and a rocker provides plenty of seating. There is also a fireplace and 65” Samsung TV with sound bar. The beautiful pool and lagoon views greet you from the floor to ceiling large windows. From this room you can access the screened-in Carolina room with a couch and 2 chairs. To the right of the living room is the formal dining area with a table that seats 8. Continuing on through the house you also have a half bathroom and laundry room with washer & dryer on the main level. The kitchen, overlooking the pool and back deck, features granite countertops, blue cabinets, built-in cook top and double ovens. There is also an eat-in area with wooden table that seats 6, as well as seating for 2 at the kitchen bar. Sliding glass doors provide easy access out to the spacious deck for grilling or dining at the deck table seating 6, along with ample built-in bench seating, 2 lounge chairs, 4 chairs and the Char-Broil gas grill. The back deck goes the length of the house and has stairs leading down to the pool area that overlooks the lagoon. Guests will love the privacy the yard provides with the lush tropical landscaping all around. You have the pool and also a private dock on the lagoon, a perfect place for a quiet escape. Owners recently added a bulkhead to the dock on the lagoon, great for kayaking!

When you enter the home to the left are two of the bedrooms. The first bedroom has 2 twin beds, a 32” TV and access to the Carolina room. It shares a bathroom with the other bedroom. The bathroom has a single vanity and tub/shower combo. The second bedroom has a queen bed and 32” TV.
Up 16 stairs to the second level, there is a loft with a large window seat and a queen sleeper sofa just outside the master bedroom. The master has a king sized bed, 32” TV with DVD player and a nice window seat for looking over the pool, lagoon, and yard. The large private bathroom features double sinks, skylight, a large walk-in closet, and a separate room with a walk-in shower and a large soaking tub with marble surround.

The home is approximately a short bike ride or a 10-12 minute walk to the beach. You will enjoy all of the amenities Palmetto Dunes has to offer including the championship golf courses, bike trails, and wide open beach. Once you stay here, we promise you will want to return year after year to have your dream vacation!
