With many added improvements and upgrades, this home is even more desirable than previous seasons! 11 Bittern Street is a magnificent 5 bedroom vacation home on Hilton Head Island. Located in the highly sought-after area of North Forest Beach, this stunning property is only a three minute walk away from the beach and has all the luxuries you could want in your vacation rental. As soon as you walk up the stairs of this home you will be greeted by a large, covered porch and your own private pool and hot tub. The outdoor space is gorgeous! There are two outdoor showers; one located at the bottom of the stairs perfect for rinsing everyone off after a long day at the beach and a hot and cold water, poolside shower up on the deck. There are two tables on the pool deck; one seats 8 and the other seats 4. In addition there are lounge chairs and plenty of seating for relaxing and soaking up the sun. The Weber propane grill is on the side deck, next to the entryway to the dining and kitchen area for easy grilling access {two propane tanks are provided for you during your stay, please let us know if you start to run low and we will replace them}.

Entering the home you will notice the beautiful light, hardwood floors, large windows, and classic design. Off the right of the entrance is a half bath. Guests will love the large gourmet kitchen featuring quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances including a Jenn-Air fridge and flat-top stove. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of festive, outdoor dinnerware specifically for dining on the pool deck, as well as, more formal tableware for your indoor dining. The formal dining area is located right off of the kitchen and there is enough seating for 10-12, which makes this home ideal for a holiday dinner or family celebration. Off the dining room is your living room with a sectional sofa and a love seat chair plus a 70Samsung TV mounted over the fireplace. Additionally, the den off of the kitchen has a sleeper sofa, desk, and 50” TV, which is great for additional sleeping arrangements or getting some work done in your home away from home.

With five bedrooms, this home can sleep up to 12 guests. To the left of the entrance is the first of five bedrooms. This master suite is named “Cypress” and has a king bed, accent chair and 55 SMART TV plus there is a private bath equipped with a soaker tub, walk-in shower and double vanity. The other four bedrooms are all found on the second floor. The “Winged-Foot” bedroom has a king bed, accent chair and 44 TV. The “Augusta” bedroom is the second master suite, it has a king bed, bench seat, 40” TV and a private bath with double vanity, soaker tub and walk-in shower. Continuing down the hall you have the “Pebble” room which has a twin bed plus a twin bunk bed and a 32” TV, perfect for a children’s room. In the hallway is the bathroom with a double vanity and a shower/tub combo. Behind closed doors is your full size washer and dryer. Finally, you have another room perfect for children or adults - “Tilden” has two twin beds and a 40”TV.

This is the perfect home to host one or two families for that fun-filled Hilton Head Island beach vacation! 11 Bittern is just 7 rows to the ocean, down the street to the bike path that covers the entire eastern portion of the Island and steps away from Coligny Plaza (60+ shops/restaurants and a grocery store). Be sure to visit the Lowcountry Celebration Park, which is just minutes away. This new, 10-acre park features the Adventure Playground, complete with a ship and a wading pool is a great way to entertain your children. With the perfect location and size of the home, we are sure to accommodate your entire family!

    The home is exactly as it appears on the listing. It is very tidy, has everything you need to relax and unwind, and is in the perfect location, especially if you have teens. I was surprised at the privacy afforded by the palms and landscaping, given that the location is so close to a shopping area. It was both private and quiet all day and night. The house is walkable to the beach, shopping, dining, and bike paths. Best breakfast coffee and pastry at Sweet Al's, so close you can stumble there pre-caffeine. The beach is beautiful, especially for a walk and dolphin watching. We spent most of our days in and out of the pool, which was super clean and refreshing. Had a great spring break, and hope to return next year.

    Stayed during our fall break and everything about the property was amazing! The kids loved the pool, the adults loved the hot tub! We loved walking to the beach, local plaza and park. Master on main and master on the upper were great for hosting multiple couples! Can’t wait to stay again!

    The property and location were superb. My only complaint is the lack of supplies. At check-in, only enough for 3 days was provided. After that we had to buy our own trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher pads, paper towels, and toilet paper. Nobody wants to have to buy that stuff while on vacation. If you go, don't expect even salt and pepper to be provided.

    The property was so conveniently located to both the beach and Coligny plaza. We enjoyed the convenience of having Piggly Wiggly grocery shop close having a pool to enjoy on the property is a terrific bonus. We enjoyed many family meals together in the well-stocked kitchen and large dining table. Only issue we encountered was with trying to get cable to work on the family room TV. The cable seem to work in all other rooms at the house, just not in the family room. All in all a fun time was had by all our family!

    perfect location. great house is one of the best values on the island. unfortunately the AC for half the house was broken for virtually our entire 5 night stay. property mgr was always available and sent techs out after hours. but we didnt have AC until the last night and we only got an 8% discount for our sleeping troubles. as long as everything works, you’ll love this house.

    The house was nearly ideal for everything we needed. We may very well make it our island home of choice. There are a few minor areas the could be improved upon and I will communicate them to the mgmt company and I have faith they will be tweaked. The Hill Family
