Lands End is one of the most unique properties in Gulf Shores! Located in the heart of the city and sitting on over 1 acre of land, the list of amenities is the stuff dream vacations are made of... The front yard consists of a brand new sports court for Basketball, Pickleball, Volleyball, and enough parking for 10 vehicles... The backyard has its own private heated pool with built-in hot tub, layout chairs, outdoor covered tiki hut with big table and grill, also a boat dock on the lagoon, fish cleaning station with water and electric, fish bragging board, and oh yeah forgot to mention its own private beach with palm trees, hammocks and FIRE PIT! The outdoor hangout space is truly impressive.

Perfectly located just 1 mile West of the famous HWY 59 and within walking distance to the City Centre, Land's End Private Estate is the ultimate large group, beach vacation headquarters! Perfect for family reunions, traveling sports teams, corporate groups, church retreats, and multi-family getaways! We are nestled right on the tip of the 2,480 acre saltwater lagoon, next to Pier 33 and behind Ikes Beach Service with great public access to the famous white sandy beach and the Gulf of Mexico right across the street with a crosswalk. We have plenty of parking for all your vehicles, and even your boats too!

Its not just the outside space that is the only impressive attribute of Lands End, but rather the inside space boasts over 6000 square feet of living space as well. Easily sleeps 34 with room for more... 10 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, 3 kitchens, 3 refrigerators and freezers, 3 washers and dryers, 13 TV's, 10 private balcony decks, 3 large decks overlooking pool area, and an outdoor closet stocked with boogie boards, beach chairs, toys, yet another fridge/freezer and much more!

At the beach directly across the street we look for shells and sand dollars on our early
morning walks. We also catch a lot of whiting, pompano, redfish and flounder for dinner right off the beach while the kids play in the sand, ride the waves, and the ladies soak up the sun.

Cleaning fish is a breeze at Lands End because we have a covered fish cleaning station with running water, electric and even our own fish hanging bragging board for awesome fish pics! The fishing is incredible!

If you can't tell, we are fishing enthusiasts! Just contact us for our favorite shore fishing hotspots and baits. FYI, you can catch baitfish right from the dock! Also we can get you connected to the best inshore, offshore, and even surf fishing guides! Bring your own boat of any size to explore the backwater lagoon. There is a public boat ramp on the lagoon and you can keep the boat parked right at the dock all week!

Incredible fishing is right out the back door. Bring your boat and keep it parked in the water at the back dock all week or trailer it and park it out front ready for Dixie Bar, Perdido Bay, or Fort Morgan at your fingertips.... The little lagoon has great flounder, speckle trout, and redfish fishing. Especially fish the lagoon lighted docks at night! Or on a calm day head out the lagoon pass to the entire Gulf of Mexico and its many oil rigs within eyesight of the pass!

Moving on to other outdoor recreation, Ike's beach rental service is the ultimate neighbor for maximizing fun and convenience on your beach vacation! Rent some of their paddle boards, kayaks or jet skis for some awesome family fun and adventure in the Little Lagoon! Or for even more adventure they offer parasailing, Segway tours, sand bikes and much more!

No day is complete without a quick hike over to Pier 33 for some treats with the kids. Established in 1978, Pier 33 is Gulf Shores oldest grocery store. They are located just 3 doors down from Lands End and carry a full line of grocery items, gifts, beach accessories, souvenirs, candy, snacks, bait & tackle, milk shakes, Krispy Kreme donuts, a nice upstairs coffee shop, and much more!

Our favorite Restaraunt in the entire area is Bahama Bobs! They are a small local joint nestled right on the beach and famous for great seafood poboys and burgers. It's just 1/4 mile walk and you can access from the street or the beach! For a great lunch at a tremendous value, head over to King Neptunes.

Gulf Coast Zoo is the little zoo that could... Our kids love visiting the zoo just 1.75 miles from Lands End! Lots of animals to interact with and feed!

The world famous Gulf Shores Hangout, Souvenir City, and Public Beach is just 3/4 of a mile from Lands End. Lots of activities going on there pretty much all summer long!

The city of Gulf Shores Bodenhamer family recreation center has an awesome pool, fitness center, gym, racquetball, game room and much more! They have a weekly family membership rate that is dynamite for active families on vacation!

Gulf Shores also has an amazing trail system for biking and hiking and they even have free bike rentals for them as well! Also new to the area is world class zip lines, the OWA theme park, and the sports complex. Those recreation activities are in addition to the all time family favorite activities of the area like the Tanger Outlet center, the Wharf, the Hangout, Lulu's, the State Pier, and of course the world famous White Sandy Beaches!

Lands End is the winter vacation getaway for the whole Herman clan- all 34 of us! We love to share this property with other like minded adventurous families and would love to see your vacation photos and stories.

From the moment you arrive at Lands End till you pick up your last souvenir heading north up Highway 59, we would like to make sure your family has an unforgettable vacation experience together! Any questions you have at anytime about anything don't hesitate to reach out!

Our stay at Land’s End was absolutely fantastic! It suited our large family so well that we’re already talking about booking it for our next family vacation. Having three separate living areas was great with such a large group — the introverts could find a quieter space without having to be totally separated from everyone, while the extroverts could do their thing without disturbing anyone Everything was very clean upon arrival, the kitchens are so well stocked we didn’t want for anything, beds are comfortable, and the child lock gates to the pool area were very much appreciated. The pickleball court, kayaks, pool and hot tub, boat dock and easy beach access really set this place apart — there’s so much to do without even having to leave the property. A few more things we appreciated: pool bathroom, outdoor shower for rinsing off, fish cleaning station, and the guest closet with an extra fridge and all the pool or beach gear we needed. Land’s End surpassed what we thought was going to be impossible to find!!

Our annual Friend Tribe beach trip. The house is perfect for the amount of cooking, bedrooms, and play space. The only thing that was lacking this year as opposed to previous year...the pool was not clean and the pool area had debris from the trees as well as remnants of water balloons. Otherwise, it was a nice as it always has been.

We absolutely loved this home! Check in was super easy. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, silverware...We loved all the things to do there. It worked very well with the kids. The pool, the play area, the dock for fishing. Close to the beach. Would definitely come to this place again!

This property fit our family of 16 with room to spare. We enjoyed the large living spaces and also the capability to separate if needed. As other reviews have mentioned, this is 3 condos converted into one -- so access across the whole unit is only possible on the main floor. Lots of stairs, which was fine for us but may be limiting to others. We are used to staying further down the beach, where it is quieter, so this property was an adjustment, as it is in a busier area. That being said, it's nice to be close to town and walkable to a few restaurants and convenience store. The pool was smaller than anticipated, WARM (hard to avoid with the size and July heat), and not as clean as we would have hoped. We still enjoyed, but it would have been nice to have it cleaned more often. The outdoor bathroom on the pool level was clutch with our young kids! The property was very well stocked. We wanted for nothing in the kitchen, and the beach shed is full of pool toys, beach toys, chairs, and a wagon. The bedrooms/bathrooms were clean and comfortable (though some of our family mentioned the mattresses in the bunk bedrooms could stand to be replaced).Communication with the property owner was prompt and helpful. We didn't have any major issues during our stay, but he quickly responded to our questions when we had them. Overall, a great place to stay - especially with large and multi generational groups.

The house was great for our group! We played lots of pickleball, used the pool day and night, close to the beach, walking distance to shopping and eating, fishing in back of property, enjoyed sitting around fire pit and making smores! We had plenty of room for everyone and loved having 3 kitchens and laundry rooms!! Had a great guest closet full of sand toys, beach chairs, fishing stuff, about anything you need for the beach and an extra fridge to keep drinks cold. It was a great vacation with friends to celebrate our boys graduating from HS.

We stayed at the house for spring break with 6 families. The house layout is perfect to enjoy your own space but also have group time. The amenities are amazing! We loved having our own pickleball court/ basketball right on the property. It is a short walk to the beach. We caught crabs and little fish in the canal. The owner is perfect in answering questions and fixing issues quickly. The property is a true unicorn and we loved our time here.

The perfect property for large families of all age groups. I could have packed a lot less!! There was an extensive array of beach toys, beach chairs, grills, kitchen supplies, beach wagon, and many other handy necessities for large families. Perfect location for any activity. Only thing I would suggest folks do is take beach towels.

Land’s End is an amazing place for a large family! 34 of us spent 5 days there. There was room for everyone to be both alone and together. Having basketball, volleyball and pickleball as well as a swimming pool, fishing dock, sand beach and hot tub all on site was something I never expected. Justin is a great host and communicated very well. The home was clean, beds were very comfortable and the location couldn’t be better. Fishing in the lagoon from the dock and less than a 5 minute walk to the gulf. They also had boogie boards and sand toys as well as 2 kayaks available.

The house was very clean. It is actually 3 condos that are joined together. Each condo has a separate living room and kitchen. There are doors between each condo that we left up open the whole time. We had 12 kids and 10 adults. The age range was 4 years old up to 68 years old. There was plenty of room for everyone. The walk to the public beach was only one block. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

We had 32 family member ranging in age form 18 months to 69 years. It was a short walk to the beach and everyone enjoyed the pool. The three units were great, the 20 somethings had one of the units and we never heard them coming in late at night. It was walkable for them to walk to lots of restaurants and the Hangout. Ample of everything for us to cook most meals in and lots of parking.

PROS: This property is actually 3 townhomes that have a lock off. They are spacious and beautiful. 25 family members stayed here with ample room. There are 3 living rooms and 3 FULLY stocked kitchens (right down to cooking spices!). The beach storage room was also a huge plus! No need to bring chairs as there are well over 20. So many beach toys for the littles were also available. Out by the pool included 2 large gas grills and a large black stone. CONS There’s only one bedroom on the 1st floor. Just in case you have several elderly family members, they may have to climb additions steps to get to their rooms. The master bedrooms on back of house stay hotter. They have provided fans, but the rest of the house is cold due to trying to keep those rooms cooler Beach access is a block down the street. No cut through directly to beach. They do provide wagons to pull your beach supplies making this easier to navigate.

Our week-long family reunion at this beach house was a dream come true for everyone, spanning ages 3 to 71. The three connected units offered the perfect balance of togetherness and privacy. The kitchens were well stocked with dishes, flatware, all types of cookware and appliances. With amenities like a private gaga pit, pickleball court, fire pit, pool, fishing area, and canoes, there was something for everyone. The short walk to the beach was a bonus, and ample parking and beach toys made logistics a breeze. Celebrating a birthday and engagement added to the magic of this perfect space for multiple families to come together and create lasting memories. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a spacious and well-equipped beach retreat.
