The host was helpful communicating before and during our stay. The property is in a great location for Mardi Gras - a short walk to Magazine street and about 20-30 minute walk to the start of the parades. We didn’t take the streetcar but it was also very close. We were able to find street parking pretty easily. The towels and linens could be replaced, they were clean but have definitely been used for quite a while. We were surprised this was a multi-unit home. The listing appeared to show this was an entire home, but you are really renting the downstairs which is helpful to know. We heard footsteps from the upstairs unit occasionally throughout our stay, but it wasn’t anything bad. This was a good place for our friend group during peak Mardi Gras season.
Alex and his team of hosts are terrific to work with. He is extremely quick to respond, the property is a beautiful 100 year old home with character in an excellent neighborhood near Tulane. You won’t be sorry if you choose to stay here.
I love this house it’s in a good neighborhood
All was good! Everything was as advertised and accurate to the pictures. We only stayed for one night but this would be such a great house for a longer stay - the kitchen was nice and fully stocked with everything you would need to cook your own meals if you wanted. They also had coffee there for us to make our own coffee in the morning which was nice. The property manager was very communicative. I had some questions about security and he answered my questions right away. (There is a security keypad and they change the code after each renter checks out.) Also, the beds were really comfortable! No complaints :)
