Set under a live oak at the end of a quiet lane, this beachfront cottage at 10 Tyler is just one house away from the Tyler Lane beach access. Single level with four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, this home is perfectly suited for a family vacation. With two indoor living areas along with gathering spaces on the screened-porch and rooftop deck, there is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their vacation. Additionally, the bunk room is furnished with a seating area and gamesystem-ready smart TV to give parents a little peace at the end of the day


The kitchen is well-equipped, featuring a Kitchen-Aid gas range and large pantry for vacation supplies. Every queen bed is triple-sheeted for cleanliness with hotel-quality sheeting and the top cover changed for every guest. Twin bunks are also dressed with hotel-quality bed linens and a coverlet, all of which is freshly laundered for new guests.


The family room, all bedrooms, and the screened in porch are furnished with smart TVs and Xfinity cable. WiFi mesh coverage is excellent throughout the home making it work-friendly. A land-line phone is provided in case your cellular carrier’s coverage is not satisfactory on the island.


The outdoor space features a large roof-top deck with an ocean view and screened porch with a gathering area, dining table and smart TV with Xfinity cable. A patio shower makes it easy to rinse away a day at the beach. A gas grill is provided for your convenience.


On this stretch of the island, the beach is not available at high tide. For your convenience, a pass for the Jekyll Island Days Inn & Suites is provided. This pass grants access to the two pools on the property as well as parking for their beach access where the beach is available at high tide.


There is parking space at 10 Tyler for 3 cars - one space is covered. Please do not plan on parking more than 3 cars to avoid intrusion into the neighbor’s driveway. No parking on grass. No smoking, family pets, or emotional-support animals are permitted in this home.

    The house was perfect. Well appointed. Even some extra TP, paper towels, trash bags, detergent. High end finishes. We forgot to sign the guest book but we plan to go back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved the house. It is roomy and close to the beach. There are a few areas that could improve the stay. The mattresses are too soft on the queen beds. There is no storage in the bunk bed room. Why not have 2 double bunk beds and put storage on the very bottom one? This would still have the house accommodating 10. And the grass should be cut before a new family comes. It was very high when we got there and it was Wednesday before it was cut. There were not enough towels for 10 people. But having tile throughout the house is wonderful. 3 bathrooms is good. The set up of the house is perfect. We also enjoyed the screened in porch. We come every year as a family-37 years-and we like this house the best.

    We had a lovely time at 10 Tyler. The location was great, with easy access to the boardwalk that led to the beach, and close to the bike path. The second floor deck was a wonderful place for morning coffee and evening wine. We were surprised that the largest, nicest bedroom didn't have an en suite bath, but rather one across the hall. Our only complaint was the mattresses in 2 rooms were uncomfortable. The bed in the back room almost felt like you were on a blow up mattress. But the house was very well equipped and clean and we enjoyed our stay.

    Wonderful house. Kitchen was the best. All cooking utensils and baking utensils you could need. I loved the kitchen. House is very clean and cozy. Would recommend to anyone
