Stayed Jun 2, 2025The house is nicely updated but is lacking the details to truly make it feel like new. There were some cleanliness issues that the host was attentive to. There were several things that happened during our stay that impacted our experience, but that didn't have anything to do with the booking and the house. Neighborhood dogs were outside barking at all hours. After midnight and before 6:00am. The neighbor next door was having their roof replaced and work started promptly at 7:00am both (weekend) mornings. One day a car hit the power pole on the corner 2 houses down so we didn't have power...... Again, all outside of the hosts control. None of it was a huge deal, just things to note. The house is super convenient to the freeway and to grocery and retail shopping. The neighborhood felt safe and the backyard is large and fully fenced, though the lawn care company didn't come until our 5th day there and it was so overgrown it was unusable prior to that. The beds were comfortable and so was the furniture. The kids loved the pool table. Overall, we probably wouldn't stay in this particular house again, but it was just fine for the week we needed.
