1 min walk to Downtown! Outdoor Patio! 5 star luxury! Golf Cart Rental!

This little bungalow made for perfect first-time visit to Mt. Dora. My husband and I came for the arts and craft show. The bungalow is very well located. Close to downtown, lake, restaurants - just about everything you want to do in Mt. Dora. The house was extremely clean and very well appointed. The owner, Talia, thought of everything one could possibly need. She was also extremely responsive to questions. I would highly recommend this property if visiting Mt. Dora.

AT FIRST WE WERE DELIGHTED AT HOW CLOSE IT WAS TO DOWNTOWN. THE OWNERS DID NOT GIVE US THE CODE FOR THE DOOR UNTIL TWO HOURS BEFORE WE ARRIVED. THE FLOORS WERE DIRTY AND FULL OF SAND. WE CALLED THEM ON SUNDAY TO REPORT NO HOT WATER AND THEY DID COME AND TOLD US THERE HOT WATER CAME FROM ANOTHER BUILDING AND HE COULD NOT FIX IT. WE HAD BEEN ANTIQUING ALL DAY AND REALLY NEEDED AT SHOWER, WE COULD NOT. THERE WAS NO WAY TO GET TO THE ELECTRICAL BOX TO CHECK THE BREAKERS AND THEN WE NOTICED THAT THERE WAS NO BACK DOOR EGRESS, SO ONLY ONE WAY IN AND ONE WAY OUT. I CALLED BOTH OF THE NUMBERS ON THE PHONE AND NO ANSWER, SO I THEN TEXED THEM BOTH AND ONE ANSWERED AND SAID THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF THE HOT WATER AND THEN NEVER TEXTED AGAIN. I HAVE BEEN TEXTING THEM AND THEY WILL NOT RESPOND. I WOULD LIKE A REFUND FOR AT LEAST ONE DAY OF THIS TRIP. THEY TURNED OUR TRIP INTO A NIGHTMARE.

The located to town center is excellent. Mt. Dora has many lovely shops to explore.The cottage was smaller than anticipated. However, it was very clean & welcoming with a bottle of wine & stemware on the table.The owner was not the best with prompt communication of instructions to guide arrival. It was difficulty to open the enter code because the faceplate was almost opaque from years of wear. Had to call the owner & ask her to bring a key to use instead. Parking was fine.It was the first time a host has asked us to remove sheets & towels and wash them before we departed. For the high rental cost we would expect the owner to do this after we left!

We found this property very well kept, adorably decorated, clean, comfortable and perfectly situated within walking distance from the nearby shops and restaurants. The owner is very responsive and accommodates your every need. Can't wait to stay again!

Location was perfect for a walkable Mount Dora experience. The bungalow was cozy and stylish, perfect for a couple. Everything we needed was there, everything was CLEAN!! So many modern touches in this bungalow. Loved our stay.

This little house had everything we needed. The location was perfect and it was well appointed with many special touches that made you feel right at home. It was clean, had great parking and the bed was super comfortable. The town of Mt. Dora is adorable and we will definitely be back. Hosts were responsive and pleasant.

This property is one block from downtown. It was designed and furnished immaculately. It is quite small, perfect if traveling solo.

My husband and I loved this place. It is exactly the right size for 2 people and a fur baby. The neighborhood is great, I felt very safe walking my dog at night. Downtown is about 2 blocks away, which made it perfect walking distance. I highly recommend any property managed by Talia.

Very nice stay. Charming bungalow, we definitely would stay again. Only slight hiccup was the there was no hot water in the shower, aside from that we had a pleasant time.

On our recent stay at The Nantucket, we found the location to be excellent, allowing us to park our car in the driveway and walk into town.However, we found The Nantucket too small for us. The tiny bathroom was impossible to dress in after a shower so we had to dress in the hallway as the bedroom was also too small to dress in. The bathroom had no place to put toiletries-perhaps a shelf above the toilet could be added for this purpose. Tissues could be placed on this shelf.Also, a strong musty odor greeted us at the door. The see-thru shades on the front windows gave us a lack of privacy at night, making watching TV or walking around in our pajamas uncomfortable as anyone walking or driving by could see clearly inside the living room. Also, the kitchen floor was gritty with sand, and there was only one teaspoon in the drawer. The request to wash any cups or utensils and strip the bed, and wash the bedding and towels was something I didn’t expect. We had paid 95 dollars for cleaning. I was hoping to away for three days from household chores while in Mt. Dora. I have never experienced this request in any of my travels in hotels, motels, and ARBNBs in the USA or Europe. I hope this review is useful to you. I know you can’t stretch the walls to make it bigger, but we would have enjoyed a little more space and privacy.

The property is pet friendly. It is right in downtown with many shops and restaurants within a few blocks. Very clean and plan on staying again in the future.

We loved this cute little cottage for a quick weekend in Mount Dora. The cottage was beautifully decorated, had all the amenities we needed and was very comfortable. The location could not be more perfect, super close to all the best restaurants, the waterfront and shopping. We can’t wait to stay again!

The owners were so nice and helpful. There was an issue to with the lock (100% user error) and they helped get me get in and dropped a key.The furniture was comfortable and everything was super clean.The location was perfect. It was just about 2 blocks to the downtown area with the shops and restaurants. I can't say enough how nice it was that we did not have to search for parking!!

Perfect cozy place to stay. Had everything needed to enjoy a weekend of biking in beautiful mount dora. Listing is exactly as shown. Was welcomed with a nice bottle of wine. Enjoyed complimentary coffee and appreciated toiletries and even provided melatonin gummies if needed. Will definitely rent again for next year bike fest. Such an easy stroll to downtown and 1/2 block to pickleball courts :).

Top notch experience and will stay again! Hosts were incredible on all levels and available throughout stay- timely and efficient communication! Place was spotless and location, location, location- walked everywhere so no hassle with parking. Took advantage of the massage....incredible as well! Highly recommend!

Excellent location! Just a few short steps to the middle of shops and restaurants. The cottage is exactly as advertised. Extremely clean and very tastefully decorated. Nice touches like quality bath towels, snacks, and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet despite being so close to all the shopping. Will definitely stay here again! Talia and Gabbi are excellent VRBO hostesses.

Beautiful, quaint bungalow located within walking distance of the unique Mt. Dora historic district. Just right for a couple. Delightful sisters, Talia and Gabi, are the absolute best owners/hosts. Attentive to every need. Would definitely rent again and will also check out their larger rentals.

Our stay at The Nantucket was exceptional. The property is the cleanest VRBO we have experienced, the aesthetics were beautiful, very welcoming. Its location closely, accessible to the downtown area, was perfect. Mount Dora is certainly a place ,we will revisit. Our many thanks to Talia

Cozy and Quaint cottage…Super Close to everything to include nice bike trail. Cottage clean and fresh! Well appointed and relaxing. Talia readily Available. We were Also able to take an Amazing food tour with Mount Dora Taste of Town …Wow! Go Hungry, leave Stuffed with delish cocktails and food! Such a beautiful little town. Definitely will be Back!! ; )

The hosts of this property are very professional and on top of the rentals. When I arrived at the Nantucket for my 11:00 am reservation the hosts immediately arrived to advise the unit cleaning had not been done and immediately offer The Baker House for me to stay in. Very apologetic for the inconvenience (which was not a problem). Helped me to move my things and stayed to make sure I was satisfied. I was MORE than satisfied.Baker House is a historic remodeled 2BR 1Bath home.It has all of the conviences of a home with a nice sitting room in the back for morning coffee or relaxing. The outside patio features a firepit and very comfortable chairs. The backyard is great for your pet to explore as they are pet friendly. Book this property. You will love it!

Amazing property.

The Nantucket is a beautifully appointed cottage right near town. The location could not be better. It was so quiet in terms of street noise but it was steps away from shops and restaurants. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Nantucket for a weekend romantic getaway. It is such a perfect property: gorgeous, clean, comfortable, and all the amenities you need. Lots of little touches that made our stay even more special. Super close to downtown shops and restaurants. Loved, loved, loved the Nantucket and can't wait to stay there again!

We had a great stay in Mount Dora at this snug cottage. The decor is charming and all that we needed was close at hand. Talia was great to work with and went out of her way when we ran into a couple of glitches. The location is close to the center of all that is happening. The neighborhood is a well kept historical Old Florida type style. We would stay here again and we would want to rent from Talia again.

Very nice, clean, cozy accommodations. Outstanding location, within two blocks of the Mt. Dora downtown shopping area. When there was an issue with check-in, the host was there within minutes to correct the issue. Excellent service.
