1 Mi to Dtwn: Historic Harrisburg Home

It was difficult to find the correct street to find the house. There were barricades at the end of one of the streets. Not sure if they closed a two way street or not.

Looking for a place to stay if you and your family are visiting the area for Hershey park? Look no further than here!!!! The area where this property resides is beautiful! It’s cute, quaint and very quiet. The neighbors are friendly as well. The home inside is beautiful and very spacious. It was a perfect place to host our family for my son’s birthday trip. The host herself is very friendly and attentive! I cannot say anything less than great things about this property. We will be back !!

Wonderful property with a great location. Quite a few homeless people late at night and in the morning, but I’d expect that unfortunately in a city the size of Harrisburg. We control what we can and let the rest be, right? Overall, excellent.

The location of the house for our reason for being there was perfect Only negative is the proximity to the sewage treatment facility, mornings were rough.

Lovely house and location, but sooo many things went wrong. See list below. Landlords and designated agent were completely unresponsive. • Downstairs shower head fell off the wall, while someone was showering • Clothes dryer doesn’t work • Fridge doesn’t cool below 55, so no good for storing food • Dishwasher door broken, and almost injured people when it slid open with full trays that almost fell out on feet • Kitchen counter lights don’t work • Toaster doesn’t work • No kitchen knives • Liquid soap dispensers throughout but all empty • TV – no access to any streaming – despite landlord saying he would respond and make it available next day (so we could watch the World Series. • The only shampoo in the showers was DOG SHAMPOOL

The house is as pictured and depicted in the listing. Wonderful historic riverfront neighborhood. Our family was in town for a graduation and didn’t need to cook, etc. but the kitchen is well stocked. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were clean.

Mix matched furniture, decor, linens, towels. No toiletries, one toilet no water- had to add buckets of water, no hair dryer. Ice maker broken, no trays to make ice. Backyard was a mess- overgrowth so couldn’t sit out there.. House needs total interior painted. This is a historic house that could be beautiful but owners have put no money into it. Overpriced for a mess of of a home .
