    Location was great and house was great. We were not expecting construction the entire week across the street. It will be ongoing for a while with saws and hammers monday througn friday. Lost imternet for 1.5 days resulting in no tv or tablet access for kids. Vacation Company was very nice and accommodating.

    My family had a great time on the beach and riding bikes around the island. Great location, amazing home, and great commutation with the host. Will book again.

    Sadly it’s time for some maintenance, kitchen supplies and new upstairs hvac. The price of our stay should have reflected the work that needed to be done to this property. The walls were chipped, dents banged, paint peeling and mold growing around and inside the sink vessels. The most disappointing thing about this house is that the upstairs HVAC can’t keep up with the heat. With the lights off, shades pulled and doors closed the internal temp of the second floor would reach a boiling 84 degrees. Service was called and everything was in “working condition”. The property manager came out and mentioned that the family the week prior had the same problem but I assume nothing was done to address the problem. The kitchen is in need of some pots and pans, 3 crockpots will not replicate an actual sauce pan or skillet. The location is remote but you should know that by looking at a map. The beach was quiet and the pool was very lovely. However, I wouldn’t recommend this home to anyone until they do a full property assessment and overhaul of their issues. It’s not worth 10k

    The house was lovely, offered bikes and games and a great location, just a short walk to the beach — so long as there is no construction going on. The house was surrounded by construction vehicles everyday, (new home being built next door), vehicles parked up on the side yard and all the way around the house, congested the walkway to the beach with trailers and porto-potties, so getting to the walkway was near impossible. Lots of loud noise through the daytime hours while they worked so napping was out. Nothing management could have done about that, but it greatly influenced our trip. Plenty of space, great kitchen and lots to do on the island. Thank you!

    1 Brown Pelican is a beautiful house. Even though we had a small group (5 adults and a child), it could have accommodated more very easily and comfortably. Everything was just as we expected, so no surprises. It was very convenient to get to everything at Sosuth Beach. We will probably stay there again.

    This house was is the perfect location! Management was 1000000% amazing! House wasnt equipped with much; so if youre staying here plan to bring spices etc! Grill, pool, beach everything amazing!

    1 Brown Pelican was a perfect COVID-safe gathering place for our family. We enjoyed long walks on the beach, biking, tennis -- there were just so many things we could do. The house was even prettier than the photos!
