1 Block to Shore: Fort Myers Beach Retreat

This house was perfect. Loved the location on Mid Island. Close enough to Times Square, close enough to Publix. Easy walk to beach (we did several times per day). Would definitely stay here again.

I can’t say enough about this house. Everything was perfect. Very clean and all the amenities of being home. 1 block from beach, close to supermarket, bars, restaurants etc. quiet neighborhood. My host was very responsive and accommodating. This place is a must stay

Loved the property with beach wagon & chairs in the garage.

Our 6 grandkids and 2 young great grandkids stayed for their dad’s celebration of life and found the house done in good taste, clean, and instructions precise. Checkout list was minimal and easy. I would highly recommend.

Great, just as advertised

The property was very clean and comfortable and its location was perfect. It was just a short walk to the beach and within walking distance to the grocery store. It was nice to be able to eat in the screened in patio! The beach chairs and umbrella were in good condition and it was nice to have beach towels so we did not need to pack them. The check in was very simple and the host was very responsive when I asked for an early check-in time. Overall, I would highly recommend this property!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house all redone and all new fixtures. Very comfortable,great kitchen, nice amenities, super screened in porch just a block from the beach on a very quiet street. I gave 4 starts for location only because there was a vacant house on the street. As they are still building up from hurricane Ian. Overall great stay I would highly recommend

We 7 adults enjoyed a week of comfort and relaxation. House is very clean, well maintained, well stocked with all needs in kitchens and bathrooms and property manger is wonderful! Just one block from beach too!

Perfect little house for a girls weekend getaway. The owners have done a marvelous job Renovating this cute little house. Fully stocked with all the amenities needed for a beach getaway. It was exceptionally nice to have beach chairs and an umbrella available for our seven minute walk to the beach, which is only a block away . Would highly recommend this little getaway.

This house gave us an “at home” feeling. Completely remodeled with new appliances and, we believe, new furniture. Photos are accurate. Bed is very comfortable. Showers have same tile as our own newly remodeled shower at home. Just like a “new move-in.” Short walk (10 minutes or less) to beautiful beach. Beach wagon with chairs and beach umbrella included. Extremely fast (most likely fiber optic cable) internet service. When you visit, please remember that Fort Myers Beach is still recovering from 2022 Hurricane Ian, but the beach has been restored and is truly magnificent. We wanted to extend our stay and hope we can return.

The property manager was very fast in responding when had concerns about flooding from tropical storm Debby. The house was clean. It had everything that we needed and more! We would stay here again if we came back to the area.
