Thank you!Suggestions:- Upstairs shower water leak onto the bathroom floor ... and mold... not good.- Ceiling water leaks in the LR and dining area.-Some written instructions for the tv and downstairs shower.-shower and tub grab bars needed upstairs and downstairs!- Instructions for the dishwasher. We used it 3 times. Each time was very difficult to get it to start without the flashing bottom red light indicating an error.Again, thank you.. and please feel free to contact me concerning any further details needed.

This seaside home is full of charm. 2 screened in porches and nestled against a little walking path that will take you to town or fitness center. Fantastic outdoor showers and just a block from the beach. My whole family loved it.

The cottage was clean, porches are really nice for relaxing, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the beach, playground, and pools are a very short walk. If we had one complaint about the cottage, it would be the hot water heater. We could get 2-3 short showers at a time out. For a house that sleeps 9 or 10, it would be nice to have a better hot water heater. We just managed by using different schedules between our two families that stayed there.We did have some problems with the neighbors and had to call security (first time experiencing this in the 15 years we have been coming to Seaside). Lots of underage drinking and one night there was a shouting match at 11am with profanity and use of racial epithets that woke our young children. We have never been to Seaside during spring break, so it may be that (there were droves of young people out very late). I don't think we will return during spring break, we will stick to our normal quiet summers from now.The cottage is great though!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I stayed at Reve de Mer for spring break this year. It was our first visit to this area of FL. Pros: The location of the house was great...one block from the beach, two blocks from the square, food trucks and shops. The house has a great front porch. Cons: Prior to arriving we assumed we had 3 pools to choose from when in actuality there is only one pool for families. There is an adult only pool and a pool from a 70's horror movie...half covered and very old looking. Even the pool we were able to go to was dated. The house was clean but the bathrooms were dated and old...the shower in the master needs some real attention. We had several issues throughout the week, a couple our own (my daughters locked themselves out of their rooms twice) and a couple the house (back door wouldn't close, the ice maker never turned off so ice would pour out of it when you opened it). The bedroom doors have turn locks so my 8 yr old twins would lock the other out but then close the door behind them. They can't be the first kids to do this...new door knobs seem like an easy fix. If my review seems isn't. We paid $7000 to stay in Reve de Mer...A LOT OF MONEY for a VERY outdated house. We booked last minute because of COVID and waiting to hear what our schools were doing. I get it...last minute means you get taken advantage of, unfortunately. But if you're thinking of staying in the area with kids...go to Watercolor. The pools are much more family friendly. If thinking about Reve de Mer...don't pay over $3000 for the week there are too many other choices in the area unless, like us, you don't have a choice.
