The kitchen was clean and well equipped

Pelican's Perch was a great place to stay and as advertised. The house is very clean, comfortable and updated. There were plenty of utensils, cookware, place settings, etc. to make several of our meals at home. The deck was a great place to start the mornings and end the day with a soft white sand beach for the day. We did not venture in for any swimming, but the tides come in and out so far that it would be wading, as the water is only ablaut 3 feet deep at the end of the pier. The fishing off the pier was great and we caught fish everyday including redfish, black drum, catfish, whiting and even a stingray. We also caught 2 small crabs. It is a very secluded, quiet place that was very warm and comfortable and a perfect getaway for my wife and I. The towns of Ocean Springs and Pascagoula are both close and offer happy hour opportunities, dining and shopping. Overall a great location, a very nice house and amenities to make it a great getaway.

Very Nice Spot for a get away with a small beach area when others nearby are rocky or they don’t have much sandy beach for your feet. Plus a pier that’s still in good condition. Nice tree swings for the kiddos. Pretty close to most things to do. Great spot

The property was exactly as described. We were very happy with our stay. We will definitely come back. Bring soap, shampoo and conditioner because it is not provided.

Was exactly as described ... The kitchen had everything you'd ever need and the appliances were great. Beds were comfortable. Was a great place to get together with old friends.

Could have used more towels and there were no toiletries; maybe I didn’t see that we needed to bring our own. A couple of boards need to be secured on both front and rear stairs.

Cute neighborhood, quiet and safe. Nice place with plenty to do.

The house is beautiful, and a perfect setup with each bedroom having its own bathroom. The beach is serene and peaceful especially at night. Neighborhood is quiet, and Ubers are easy to get if you want to go out for dinner and drinks.

3rd or 4th time staying here. It feels like home every time. One of the best rentals on the coast. We will definitely be back again.

The house is lovely. Beautiful water view. So quite a peaceful here. Had plenty of room for trailers we were both pulling. It takes about 20 minutes to get to a restaurant! Ocean Springs is a great little town. Would stay here again

Beautiful and peaceful getaway

Our stay was very enjoyable. The home was very nicely decorated. It had everything we needed. The fishing was great. We spent each day on the pier and caught black drum, mullet, croaker, speckled trout, redfish, catfish, and sting ray. We will definitely be staying there again.

Very relaxing place!

My husband and I loved to sit on the wharf every morning and evening to watch the birds and dolphins. So relaxing!The home had everything we needed and is one of the cleanest homes we have rented!

Very clean, well stocked, comfortable beds, nice amenities. The house could use a little routine maintenance; a few burnt lightbulbs and 2 doors that don’t close properly. Overall it was a great stay.

We selected this property because it is within driving distance of both Pensacola and New Orleans, and that worked out very well. There are plenty of other attractions within a 90-minute drive, and it is also very easy to get into Ocean Springs and to the public beaches. The neighborhood is quiet and private. We enjoyed the shady deck, and the crabbing was excellent. We took amazing pictures of the full moon over the bay and watched some impressive thunderstorms in the distance. So overall, we had a nice stay. The home is advertised as pet friendly, which it is, but unfortunately, not all the pet hair from the last furry visitor had been cleaned properly. The beach was also a lot muddier than we had expected. Just like the owners advise, water shoes are a MUST. Finally, there were pieces of glass on the beach and previous visitors left empty plastic bottles behind. The two barbeques were dirty, so we decided not to use them. I don't fault the owners for this; you can't control what the water washes up and whether people clean up after themselves. But if you travel with younger kids, you may want to inspect the outdoor area first before you let them play.

Beautiful home, very well stocked with bedding/towels and kitchen items. Did not need to keep running to Walmart for spices,ect. The owners sent a pdf of all the info we needed for the house plus the area.

I am almost 80 and sometimes not so sure -‘footed. I would have appreciated a more stable means of getting to the dock. The younger among us had no problems, of course, and loved the dock.

This is our second time booking and the additions of the kayak, crab pots, and fire pit since the last time we visited just added to the already amazing beach house. We caught lots of fish and crabs from the dock and enjoyed the firework shows for the 4th of July. We have already booked again and will make this our go to place when available.

My husband and I had a marvelous time, even though it rained every day!! I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to get away and hear the crashing of the waves.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay! This home had the most relaxing and peaceful views. Very quiet area - which we loved. We caught crabs and tons of bait fish and shrimp. Overall highly recommend this home for a quiet relaxing trip!

As always, we just love this property, a hidden gem off the beaten path. It’s clean and has everything you need, and being right on the beach with kids is perfection! The owners are always so kind and accommodating. This is our third visit, and we will be back!

We had a great time spending the weekend at Pelican's Perch celebrating our son's birthday with his grandparents. Everyone, age 7 to 77, enjoyed our stay!

Everything about our stay was fantastic. We live in Virginia and we wanted a special place to stay on our 20th wedding anniversary. We looked at many, many places and decided on the Pelican's Perch for our celebration. We are so happy we did! From the beautiful view of the gulf we had each morning with coffee, to the drum we had for dinner that we caught off the pier, it was perfect! Thank you Tim and Leanne for sharing your home with us!

The property is lovely. All we needed and more in the B&B. Only comment is that the king bed is a huge challenge for those of 80. Being right on the ocean was our gift. Even though the temps in November are cool, just being by the water again was wonderful. The bonfire a special time. Loved all the thoughtful little extras.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. We were here for Cruising the Coast and there was plenty of room for our trailer. We will definitely stay again.

Determined to get in an October vacation with only a few weeks to plan it, this house on the Gulf turned out to be perfect for us. It is in a great location with a breath-taking view of the water. The interior has been lovingly renovated and everything was comfortable. For the lucky person who sleeps on the left side of the bed in the Primary bedroom, you will be treated to beautiful sunrises lying in bed looking out the window. Pelican's Perch was perfectly pleasant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! The owners were fantastic with communication - no middle person management company to deal with. They were aware that we were looking forward to a week of fishing and even went above and beyond by fixing the ramp after Francine so we could access the pier. The house had everything we needed for cooking, including grills and pots/pans. We had a wonderful time. While there were ice trays available (no automatic ice maker), we made a couple of trips to the local ice vending machine to fill our cooler. My husband and I own a small tourist-run business on the Florida Emerald Coast. After a particularly busy and so hot and humid summer, we seriously needed to relax. I booked this rental for arrival on September 26. Unfortunately Hurricane Helene started causing our area concern a few days earlier. Tim was so flexible and understanding and allowed us to move our check-in date up a day so we could avoid any storm related traffic. He also gave us the option of keeping our check-out date or leaving a day earlier. To have someone so accommodating, removed much of the stress of trying to go on vacation while preparing for a hurricane hit. The house was everything we had hoped for - even better than the photos and description. It is on a quiet, tree-lined street with wooded lots either side. Sitting out on the back deck over-looking the Mississippi Sound watching Skimmers, Gulls, Great Egrets and Sandhill Cranes and flocks Pelicans was the perfect way to start each morning. We kayaked in the mornings, went downtown Ocean Springs for brunch, took short trips to Biloxi and spent afternoons in New Orleans. Perfect house, perfect location, amazing hosts. We are already planning our next stay!!!

Beautiful house, very clean and comfortable , and close to the things we wanted to do . Wish we didn’t have to cut our stay short. Would love to go back sometime

This house is beautiful with everything you need. The six of us were very comfortable. Plenty of room to spread out. Our family enjoyed a relaxing vacation with a beautiful view and the soothing sound of the gulf. The pier is an extra perk, we used the supplied crab traps and caught some crabs, we even tried our luck with a cast net and caught lots of shrimp

We loved our trip! The house was beautiful and had everything you need. We loved the back deck and the kayaks. But our favorite part was the pier where everyone enjoyed fishing, crabbing and hanging out!

My family and I were looking for a property that was away from the hustle and bustle. Pelican’s Perch was the perfect location for that!!! ♥️

House was really nice. Enough room for a family to stay and be comfortable. The ability to use the boats was nice to try out. Pier was in good shape. Everything was in good order when we arrived. The Shed was a good place to eat. Ocean Springs was nice to walk through. Neighborhood was quite.

We had a wonderful time at the Pelican Perch. I kayaked with a dolphin and my children found treasures on the beach each evening. We enjoyed trips into town and fun family adventures like the shrimp boat tour.
