Turquoise Pearl in the Desert

Great little place to stay. Clean and uncluttered. My husband and I stayed almost a month, and the only thing I would add, equipment-wise, is a mixing bowl or two in the kitchen (also, ask about the microwave situation if you're used to using one.There's a glitch.) Also a bench or extra chair in the back bedroom would be handy. So, if that's all that's lacking that's great. Bed quite comfortable. Loved the light on all four sides, and the porch... and the birds. The manager, Elvis, lives right next door, there's a great little grocery store 2 blocks away, and it's walking distance to several (commercial) hot springs!

The place was nice at 1st look, but then you have hot water for about 7 min before it freezes you out. There is no microwave, the futon is not as advertised. The wifi is diff from what the site says, and what the booklet says, and wouldn't connect to stream things. The property mgr tried to charge me $20 extra for a cpl nights that had been added, which I was told to give in cash, and didn't get a receipt. He also kept harassing my co worker and my brother bc they came to the house a cpl times, and was making smart remarks as if we were causing trouble. I was charged extra for things I shouldn't have been charged for.

Enjoyed a great two weeks. Walked to almost everywhere, so much to explore. Relaxing and quiet. Great little find, very clean and the deck was a nice extra space to enjoy!

I just want to thank elvis for his hospitality and his humor. This place is a gem.... just a perfectly kept diamond in the rough. Clean safe chillaxin paradise. I spent every evening on the porch and enjoyed the high fenced in privacy with a great yard...

We needed a place to stay for a month while we cleaned, painted and readied ourselves to move into our new home. It was clean, comfortable, reasonable priced and Elvis next door took real good car of us. Only thing i would have added was a microwave.

We stayed for a month at this cute little gem and loved it! It was so neat and clean when we got there! The property manager and owner were so kind and helpful to us whenever we asked! The porch is great to set on and watch the birds, nice and private! Hope to stay there again!!!

Everything was great. Nice grill that we used several times during our 2 week stay. Nice shower/walk in tub chair & always plenty of hot water. Back yard was quiet with the privacy fence all around. Elvis was a great & helpful host! Nice enough that we considered using it as a potential 3 month stay next winter season! Close to a couple walking trails near the Rio Grande that I walked frequently! All & all a very positive experience. The cooking pans get too hot when used especially the small pot that I heated water in for tea. Learned the hard way to use a pot holder!

Quiet stay, very clean, well equipped, fenced yard, a porch to relax and enjoy the air and quiet surroundings.

Perfect size for my kids n pups! Definitely will be returning as this was our second time here.
