Perfect getaway
I had a wonderful weekend with Stella! I came on a very dark and stormy night, Stella and I rocked it out with scary movies and popcorn. The gorgeous new deck has a tin roof so be prepared to learn how loud the tv goes if you’re expecting so weather. Even with all the rain the river stayed very low. I think it has been and will be low for years but I’m no expert on these things. Backyards are lined up along the entire river so don’t expect much privacy. Also the only other campers were directly behind Stella and while they couldn’t see me unless they came down to the lookout deck, I felt rather exposed. No one’s fault, but my own as I booked some of the day before. I love seeing all the deer and birds and the fattest squirrels you’ve ever seen. The best site was seeing the pair of ducks slap. Their little flippers up the hill for breakfast. None of them came to me though, so I assume they have their routine set out. All in all lovely visit and I would definitely recommend.
My cousin and I wanted to do a little birthday getaway since our birthdays are coming up. We wanted to get out of the city for a while. We came upon Stella and she automatically caught our attention! We loved how cozy looking she was and the views drew us more to her. When we first arrived there we just explored around and loved every bit of bit. Especially our service stay there enjoyed it! Will be back again!
Was greeted by the host as we entered the property then joined by her for a quick inspection/orientation of the property. Setting was on a cliff overlooking the Medina River basin below. Short walk down to the river. Host and owners are accommodating and super personable. Stella was very comfortable and cozy. We’ll be back.
