House on the Water W/Boat Tie up

This bay house is in a nice, very lowkey development that features a 3 minute drive to the beach. There’s a variety of food spots close by, and the boardwalk parking is about a 25 minute drive. When it comes to the house itself, it is dated, but still comes with great features. I think the best one is the deck & dock area right out the sliding glass door. But, other great things about this house include a furnished kitchen, 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. Overall, this is a perfect pick for someone who’s looking for a simple, clean (as far as bugs, bathrooms, and beds), and fairly priced OCMD trip!

Don't like doing reviews but people need to know what they are getting into when they rent this home. It's looks as though nothing has been done to it since it was put there probably 40 or 50 years ago. Everthing except the dock and deck is completely trashed. The carpet in the first bedroom is littered with stains which make it hard to want to walk around in bare feet. There is more or less a covered up hole in the floor outside the main bathroom which will eventually have someone step through. The bathtub in the main bedroom is stained beyond anyone wanting to use it in my opinion. AC worked ok but the back bedroom was always 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. Kitchen facilities were a hodgepodge of pans, glasses and dishes. Not a big deal but the frying pain which look as if they are non stick do not work. There are an assortment of clothes in the closet of the main bedroom scattered through out which are probably things that have been left behind over the years. All in all it served our purpose as a couple of lacrosse players down for the tournament without our wives. If they would have come we would have immediately had to leave because of the condition of the home.

Extremely disappointed with this rental. I have never stayed in a VRBO that was in such a dilapidated state. I have never given a bad review for any VRBO I’ve rented. Please see the details & pictures. EXTREMELY dirty, every single room, dirt, dust, cobwebs, stains etc… All kitchen appliances are dirty with food residue. We did not cook on or in anything nor used any dishes/utensils. We did use coffee cups but washed them first as well as the coffee maker. Bathroom in the master bedroom was dirty, stains, mold, rust, more water comes out of the shower knob then the shower head.Bathroom 2 filthy, peeling paint, the shower head wanted to come off the wall. Listed as linens provide….. beds were not made and the linen closet is filled with mix and match sheets that smell like musk and mold. We had to go out a purchase towels. The pillows on the beds were all stained. Bedroom 1 dirty, stained carpetsTwin bedrooms, dirty, most lamps no lightbulbs, head boards not attached, Master bedroom, dirty, old undergarments in drawers, lots of dead bugs. Hallway floor has missing wood, covered up by a rug and it’s sunken in causing a trip hazard.Outdoor deck furniture in bad shape.The trash can is actually a laundry hamper so trash bags don’t fit. There is NO WAY the owners have a cleaning service. We spoke with the neighbors who told us they have seen renters come here and leave right away because of the poor conditions. I had way more on my list but it was to many characters

This property is unsafe. The doors don't lock, the floor is soft and rotting in places.

Very easy to access, beautiful view, friendly neighbors. Close to attractions. Definitely will be booking again next year! Hopefully for a longer stay.

This was a beautiful house in a great neighborhood and the location on the bay was perfect..We had a great stay and the host is very nice.Will definitely recommend to others and will stay here again next year

When we looked at the pictures we knew it needed updating. However it was comfortable and the view of the Bay was fabulous.

Overall very nice stay. I had a few questions and Ellie responded right away. We also had an issue with the AC and she got it fixed as soon as I notified her. Place was not filthy as others have said. There is no maid service so you are at the mercy of how the previous guests leave it (Im sure some people dont care). For the price you can not beat it. Definitely would return.

This was our 3rd stay here. We love this location! The neighborhood is excellent; comes with 2 pools, tennis courts, fishing areas and mini golf. The location on the bay is unmatched. From the deck or the dock right outside your door, you can see various wildlife and watch the boats go by, sometimes even see a dolphin! The house has everything you need. The host is always responsive to our messages when needed. We will continue to return to this spot!
