This property had everything we needed for the weekend we stayed. Quiet area, is basically a trailer community on a nice little lake about 3 minutes from town. There is a nice deck with grill and picnic table, saw several deer walking through the property.
I love the property. We have stayed here twice and plan on staying again soon. Very convenient and affordable. Cobwebs in the windows and outside was dirty but the inside is very nice and even has new table and chairs. We will be back!
loved the set up. very convenient and affordable. already booked it for sept
We rode up for the Tomahawk Fall Ride. This place was perfect for us. Close to town and the neighbor was extremely nice and informative.
The location was perfect for us, close to family and town. The mobile home was dated, but the shower pressure was good, and the master bed was soft but comfortable. It worked for our needs.
This is actually a tired old double wide trailer. Latches on the cabinet doors don't hold. Lighting in the kitchen is totally inadequate for prepping food. The air conditioner is a stand alone unit in the living room and was not up to the task of keeping the trailer cool during the 85 degree heat we had. The bedroom was very warm. The sink trap in the kitchen appears to be leaking because there was water in one of the pans that was supposed to be available for cooking. The fry pan we did use was very warped. Utensils for cooking were not in good shape either. There is no dishwasher, so you need to spend more time than usual on your vacation doing dishes by hand. I would not book with this property again, even if it was $75/night.
Clean and functional. Convenient location. Would be nice to have instructions to television. Most options needed passcode.
We really enjoyed our stay. It was great with the lake being right there. The lake was the perfect size for paddle boarding and my kids enjoyed the pedal boat. Fishing off the pier was great too:)
Went out to the dock the first day and there were a pair of cranes right outside. The location is so close to everything yet in the quiet woods. Hammock outside was very relaxing and inside were comfortable beds and a big kitchen.
Everything was clean and in good shape. We did have to shovel snow to enter house
Good place to stay. Everything that u need to enjoy your trip. All was good and just as the host said . With the surprise that there's a fishing boat with motor you can use with the cabin if I had more time I would have used it. All in all if u need a good place to chill and be close to northern Wisconsin and Michigan area for outdoor activities this is a good place to start
First of all, don’t expect to communicate with the property host effectively. We did not get check-in information until 30 minutes after our check-in time, and that was only after about an hour on the phone with VRBO reps. I messaged the host twice the day of arrival (at least 5 hours before check-in time), and did not get a response. I tried to call, and it went to a voicemail that was not set up. The VRBO rep was able to reach the host and we got a message shortly after. In the meantime, we were delayed in leaving and missed out on team events. As for the property itself…. It was the perfect location for the baseball tournament we were there for. The house (a small mobile home) offered a master bedroom which had a very firm and uncomfortable bed. The lights in the master bedroom that are worked by a switch seem like a fire hazard because they don’t always work, and sometimes work when you flip the switch off. The TV didn’t work either. The second bedroom had a sufficient bed for one kid. The pull-out sofa had a horrible mattress on it so my son just slept in the couch itself. The bathroom is small, hot water doesn’t last long, and we were provided a partial roll of toilet paper and told to provide more if we needed it, as well as our own bath towels. We also were told to provide our own paper towels in the kitchen if the one (again, partial) roll was not enough. The Keurig in the kitchen had a leftover k-cup in it and the water tank was disgusting. I didn’t even bother to look at the other coffee pot. There was also a half eaten watermelon in the fridge (which we left there). It allowed us a roof over our heads for the weekend, and free Wi-Fi which was helpful since cell coverage was super spotty all over. I’m sure there are TONS of other options and better guest experiences in the area. I DO NOT recommend this place.
Nice place to stay. Has everything you need on vacation. Just 2 suggestions. Invest in a bigger hot water heater. Hot water runs out very quickly. Also, having a full roll of toilet paper instead of just the last remnants at arrival would have been nice.
Everything I needed for great trip. Easy access to rails.
The trailer was okay but but kitchen had the smell of a dead mouse and we bought frebreeze but only helped a little. The skillet I used was greasy and so we had to treasure everything we used.
The dock is a shared dock, not right by the trailer. There are a lot of weeds by the shoreline. We were not told about the location of the dock or the weeds by the dock. The trailer itself was okay, because we spent most of our time out doors.
The property desperately needed to be cleaned.
The property was clean, everything well organized, and well furnished. Patricia Lake is beautiful, we kayaked every day!
