6 berth caravan with decking at Manor Park in Hunstanton ref 23017H

Booked this as a half way stop to visit Roarr for my eldests birthday. We needed somewhere that had separate bedroom for him, enough space for my babies travel cot and self catering as my eldest has severe food allergies. The caravan ticked all of these boxes for us and it was reasonably priced. It was our first caravan holiday and we had lots of fun. Thank you.

I arrived Sunday afternoon I opened the van door & the smell met me. I immediately opened all possible windows & doors I could. If I wasn’t so tired from the drive I would have closed the door & drove back home. I emailed 2cHolidays who manage the van & to be fair they called me the next morning & arranged for the cleaner to attend whilst I was out. I got back & all they had done was spray air freshener to mask the smell, I opened all the windows & doors again. As long as they were open the van was ok until I had to go to bed & then it was vile. Monday night I came to cook my dinner & the pans were dirty presumably from previous holiday makers stay, clearly the cleaning company don’t do a thorough check & then Monday night I found mould all up the bedroom curtains & nets of the room I was sleeping in disgusting apparently it had been deep cleaned a month ago, had it?? This morning I went to use the grill & the grill door fell off. The owners left their contact details in the van for any problems, I text them to let them know about the smell, they confirmed the cleaners were coming & that was the last I heard from them, they’d had the money off me & clearly didn’t care. I will be taking this further, a smelly / mouldy van should not be allowed to be rented out, mould is not good for your health!!!
