The Overlook Asheville Escape - Modern Luxury Immersed in Nature

The property is definitely designed for a large group. We had 10 people in our 70s. Everything was accessible, clean, modern, and first class.The property is in a natural setting, quiet, and beautiful views. Host was exceptional. The kitchen has state of the art appliances. Very comfortable beds. Highly recommend this property. An easy drive to all the sites in Asheville.

The Overlook was outstanding — first rate. The house was modern, clean and filled with everything necessary to make our stay pleasurable. There were enough en suite bathrooms and the beds were top notch, providing a great night’s sleep. The check-in/check-out information was also very clear, concise and informative. The Overlook was a great experience for our family of twelve.

This was the first VRBO we've stayed in a long time where we did not feel a need to wash the pots, pans, dishes and cutlery before we actually used them. The house was absolutely spotless. It did take us a day or two to get the hang of the central heating adjustments but after that, all was perfect. And we really enjoyed the fact that there were multiple restaurants and shops close by and it was only a short drive to downtown Asheville. Our host could not have been more accommodating and hospitable.

Our host was very welcoming and gave us lots of very helpful details about the area (restaurants, attractions etc.). The house was perfect, our grandchildren especially enjoyed the video game console and the fire pit on the patio. Hope we can come back!!

The Home was lovely. Exceptionally clean. The host was very prompt if we had a question. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was a unique surprise to see deer on the property and a huge bear on the road!

the best house ever for a big chill with old friends, and I mean that both ways! so the comfortable beds and pristine bathrooms were appreciated! the spacious kitchen and comfortable dining table and chairs also appreciated! great location too!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! From the moment we arrived, everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described (if not better). The home was thoughtfully decorated and well-stocked with everything we needed – from kitchen essentials to even some local guidebooks.The location was perfect – close enough to everything we wanted to do, but peaceful and quiet when we wanted to relax. Whether we were enjoying coffee on the porch in the morning or winding down after a day of exploring, the space felt like a true home away from home.Our host was incredibly responsive and helpful, making check-in smooth and stress-free. You can tell they truly care about creating a great experience for their guests.We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. Family friendly and clean! Great location.

The kitchen area was fantastic! It was FULLY stocked with all the utensils and equipment we needed. The counter area was enormous. The open floor plan allowed the 9 of us (all adults) to spread out around the counter, large dining table and family room area but still be able to hold conversations. All bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. Jason was a great host. Very prompt communications with us before, during and after our stay. For example, We had a couple of questions when we first arrived and he answered them almost immediately. The location is also very good. It was very easy to get in and around Asheville. All of us highly recommend the Overlook as a place to stay while in Asheville.

This house was perfect for our group of four families. Enough bedrooms for each couple, plus one for all the boys and one for the girls. The location made it easy to get to Montreat, Black Mountain and into Asheville, and there was an Ingles grocery store very nearby.The kitchen was the best-stocked in terms of utensils, cookware and small appliances of anywhere else I’ve stayed. Between the game room, upstairs and downstairs living rooms, there was plenty of space for the kids to hang out separately from the adults.We had a maintenance issue come up and the owners sent someone immediately to take care of it, including taking care of putting bedding that had gotten wet into the laundry.We would absolutely stay here again.

This is a wonderful house. It is beautiful and very comfortable. The bedrooms were perfect for our family and the beds were comfortable. We loved the large number of seats at the dining room table plus some at the island. With many houses that bed a large number of people, there are small dining room tables but not this one. We also loved the sitting area off of the kitchen. The AC was very easy to figure out how to use it, and there were multiple thermostats. Also, the down stairs bedrooms had air control in each room. It was very convenient to many Asheville attractions. The owners were very responsive. This may be the best house we have ever rented for our family vacation. The only negatives were that the mtn view wasn't great (too may tall trees), and the house is on a hill with no good place to go for a walk.

This is a beautiful property with amazing views. Plenty of space and a very responsive host. The house was very clean and had all of the essential items.We needed. There was even a pac man arcade and a foosball game that was a big hit. The host communicated very well. We will definitely stay here again.

Great house for 3 families. Nicely maintained, spacious, clean, and easy to access all the amenities Asheville has to offer. Would highly recommend.

House was lovely. Great open kitchen and sitting area for entertaining. Large outside deck with an excellent grill. Well accommodated and comfortable bedrooms many of which have their own bathroom which is one of the many bonuses to this house. 15-20 minute drive to most of the sites in Asheville. Our stay was abbreviated by the devastating storm in the area but we look forward to the opportunity to return this beautiful region. We thank the gracious host of this wonderful VRBO.

We had siblings coming in from all over for a reunion. We went hiking on the Blue Ridge Parkway and eating at the great restaurants in Asheville plus sample a few craft brews. The house is perfect for large gatherings a lot of bedrooms plus a lot of bathrooms . We made a few meals at home too Jason was great to work with everything went smoothly note roads leading to the house quite a few curves but you get use to it. Great trip and house thanks Jason !

This was our second time staying at the Overlook. We stayed with a couple of families and the house was perfect for that. We also enjoyed seeing (from inside) the daily bear family visits. Jason is a pleasure to work with, and we would definitely stay here again.

Convenient location, immaculate and beautifully decorated. Comfortable beds and everything we needed in the kitchen, includi g a 2nd refrigerator on the ground floor. Rooms are large.

Our family has had family reunions for years and this is one of the best properties in which we’ve stayed. The space was very comfortable for both hanging out together and finding spaces to relax alone. We had no problem cooking together in the large kitchen and gathering at the large dining table. Its location was perfect as well. Close enough to downtown Asheville to be convenient but also a lovely country setting very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Our family from Florida and Michigan came together for a long weekend vacation and stayed at the Overlook. This property was absolutely beautiful and was exactly as represented in the listing. The check in and out processes were very easy and our hosts were so responsive and helpful. The property was extremely clean, and well suited for large groups with lots of comfy seating both inside and out. The very large kitchen allowed us to cook together and converse with bar seating. Lovely weekend at a lovely home.
