Beautiful home and location. House was not maintained/cleaned properly and could be improved. Additionally better locks on house to feel more secure and windows need curtains. Would be helpful to have instructions for the tv, hot tub, trash pickup as well. We did have a good stay and will recommend for others to stay there.
The place are very interesting, cosy and warm, maintained well. Host respond very fast, and manage to help when he can. As for about location it is very close to Snowbasin, just 10-12 minutes drive, and not far from Powder Mountain. The only thing to pay attention to, is internet connectivity, we had total 15 devices and internet speed was not higher then 50 Mbit, also disconnects happened from time to time, however if you do not need to work, it is good enough.
House was perfect for our large family. Spencer was a great host and easy to communicate with. We hope to come back and stay again.
We booked this home for the holidays and were thrilled with the property. From a nicely stocked kitchen, including spices in the cupboards, to the game room, to the video setups, all of our celebrating needs were met. Huntsville is a lovely little town with skiing and hiking nearby -- make sure to stop at the Shooting Star Saloon which has historical significance. The owners were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to bring our three dogs and even leaving filled water bowls in the hall. thank you!!
We enjoyed the home even if we didn't take full advantage of it. A couple of comments we want to leave are some summer blankets would be nice the comforter bed covers were to warm, and possibly boxes of facial tissue. All in all we give you a very good
From the dogs to the grandkids to the adult children to the grandparents, this house was perfect. Beds are comfortable and house is well stocked with everything you need. And the check-out process was “just lock the door” which was a welcomed note since it feels like more and more VRBOs have quite a bit they expect the guests to do (which sometimes makes it hard to not just want to go to a hotel). Highly recommend!
Worked great for pr family reunion!!
Overall this was a nice rental and we had a good vacation. We would consider coming back again but would compare nearby properties first. The beds were comfortable, despite one being broken. The basement has fun games for families and kids to enjoy. There was laundry and plenty of kitchen and deck space for our party of 12 to enjoy. With that said, here are some things to note: 1) We are in the middle of a pandemic, and there were two people in the home when we arrived (minus showing up nearly 40 minutes after our check-in time). They were cleaning the property and proceeded to be in the home for several hours after we arrived (and not wearing masks). Fridge, bedrooms, etc. not ready for unloading; dishes on the counter and in the sink; laundry going… They came back late that evening still unmasked to drop off toilet paper and soap. We had 6 children under the age of 7 in the house, so their unmasked presence was not appreciated. We tried to stay cordial, and I will give one star despite this, as the woman was extremely pleasant and even picked up some staple items for us that we forgot. I would rate her 5-stars as we aren’t fussy people and wouldn’t have minded this inconvenience if not for COVID. I suggest homeowners take that into account moving forward. 2) The house was HOT. It is an air conditioned home, but we could not get the upper level to drop below 80 degrees. (3 bedrooms on this level). And yes, we tried keeping shades drawn, doors opened and then doors closed. The basement was pleasant. 3) The property does not have a manicured grassy area as shown in photos and in description. I get that Utah is in a drought (we are from the West too). Would have appreciated at minimum some mowing back/trimming of the natural landscape to accommodate kids playing in yard. 4) The trash was full and stinky when we arrived. We could not park in the garage to get vehicles out of the heat. We had to ask the neighbors when trash day was, and put it out ourselves. (We did ask the person who was cleaning the home, but she didn’t know.) 5) The home is located near a beautiful lake. It would be nice if the home offered camp chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, towels, etc. for use. We asked ahead of time, so we knew what we were getting into. Luckily, we drove over and were able to bring our own items. **The lake is quite a steep walk across burning sand from the parking area—so plan ahead for that. Overall, would still recommend property.
It was a great property to allow our family to have spaces to be together and also have some private space when we wanted some quiet time. It was well equipped and clean. There are some minor items of deferred maintenance that didn’t cause any problems but that were unexpected for this type of property
We really enjoyed our stay. 4 couples and 2 kids fit nicely, with everyone having their own space. Communication with the property owner was great, especially when there was an issue with the A/C. Highly recommend!
