This was a real disappointment. I give a lot of benefit of the doubt when we book rentals, but this wasn’t VRBO worthy. I regretted booking this location. We rented this location for its entertainment advertised. It’s apparently clear when you walk in, the pictures were original listing and have not been updated (even the paint color of the home). The bottom level rooms (if they aren’t padlocked, they have them labeled private. Those just happen to be the rooms with the bunk beds, but that’s ok because the mirror closet door was just leaning against the wall. Move to the second floor and the foosball table is falling apart. The outdoors entertainment is filthy. The deck could use a wash, the chairs are outdated and heavily used. The one thing my kids were stoked about (projector) had no way to use since the hotstick was missing. Which was a bummer that the owner ghosted me after it was brought up within 24hrs of checking in. The grill area needs a heavy degreasing because of previous renters spilling grease on the mats and ground. The main floor level was disgusting. I have no issue with the sometimes outrageous cleaning fees that are charged because I look at it as I’m paying to have them clean for my stay. However, they didn’t clean. Toilet paper wasn’t changed, showers were dirty. Floors hadn’t been swept or mopped. There’s no way they used the vacuum provided, because the battery doesn’t last longer than 30 secs. Nice neighborhood, big disappointment.

What a great place. Turns out, small windy mountain roads give me anxiety but it was the only place we saw a bear even though we spent hours in the Smokey mountains Any questions or concerns I had was quickly answered by our hostMy only complaints are as follows - Fan in master bedroom couldn’t be used- cleanliness wasn’t quite up to my standards - foosball table didn’t have balls - checkers table didn’t have enough pieces As I told our host, none of these things were an inconvenience to us. The house was beautiful and perfect for our family We stayed 8.25.25-8.29.25Ps the house is black not tan like in photo. We passed it due to the color difference lol

Plenty of room and great activities provided. Some things were a little worn but overall a great stay. We would stay again.

Beautiful home and nestled in the mountains. We saw 4 bears on our road!! It would have been nice to know ahead of time that it is serviced by well water so we could have come prepared with bagged ice and water bottles. We had to go back out after arriving to get these essentials. Other than that, it was a great stay with plenty of room for all our guests (12) and plenty of area to play and enjoy one another. The queen bed in the upstairs bedroom was the noisiest bed I have ever slept in....comfortable but VERY noisy and squeaky.

We thoroughly enjoyed this large tri-level home for our 3-generation family of 13. The beds were comfortable and having 4 full baths was great! The kids enjoyed the game/tv room downstairs while the adults played cards on the main level. The large dining room table was great at mealtime and the kitchen was well equipped. The owner was very responsive to our needs. The drive up to the property is steep and winding. I agree with a previous review that advises not to arrive after dark. We had a couple of bear sightings within the Shagbark community.

We had a family group, ages 3-50. The cabin was easy to find, had a secluded feel, & close proximity to PF. It's a gated community which is also nice. Checkin time is when the gaurd will let you in the gate. There is a DG Market across from the Walleys. It is clean & well stocked. The cabin had plenty of cooking supplies, towels, extra bedding, and TP/paper towels. The outdoor spaces were nice & relaxing. We had a night of rain, watching it from the front & 2nd floor decks were so relaxing. The 2nd floor was fantastic for all ages. Arcade game, fooseball and ping pong tables, hanging ring game, chess table. The hammock was a constain hang out for our pre teens. The upstairs closest had board games & Dvds with a player. Most of my group got in the hot tub & really enjoyed it. The WiFi was good, we had no cell coverage at the house. The pool was nice, clean & we really loved the tennis/pickle ball/basketball court in the same area. They had rackets and balls to use. You will see wildlife, which was one of my favorite parts. We got to see wildlife in the area & on the property. Deer, raccoons, groundhogs, and even bears . Just be aware that it is a 3 story house with a large temp different from the top & bottom floors. Also a good amount of stairs(for some). The evening sun does warm up the top floor when cooking. The master bed was comfortable. Some of the group didnt like their beds. 🤷 We would stay here again.

The house is close to most area attractions Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of outdoor seating. Definitely bring mosquito spray those buggers are fierce at dusk and evening. It is a bit of a climb to get to the house and a couple of the roads are pretty steep. We had an enjoyable stay and would stay again! Did see a big old black bear scratching his back about 3 power poles from the house.

The location was great but it would have been helpful to know in advance the driveway is not easy for two full size trucks. Owners are great and super responsive. Overall, great for our double family accommodation.

Loved our time at this cabin. We enjoyed the semi-covered deck on the second floor with the movie theater screen. There was a big difference in the temperature between the 1st and 3rd floor, but that was addressed in a email prior to our arrival. Any issues we experienced were quickly answered by our host. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

This cabin was perfect for our group. Having four full baths and having three full floors to spread out in, was extremely wonderful. Having amenities made the trip so much more enjoyable since we didn't have to pack more things or worry that we forgot something. The host was very quick to respond when we reached out a few times, and was great to work with. I highly recommend this host and location for your trip!

We enjoyed our stay! The drive up is not for the faint of heart, but this is truly a mountain house. The kids loved the creek near the pool and spent time hunting for crawfish. We would love to rent again if we come back to the area.

This was such a cozy cabin and perfect for a weekend getaway with some family. We had a great time and made use of all of the great amenities such as the game room, hot tub, movie screen, and more. It was a little climb getting there from the gate, but expected when in the mountains! There was more than enough toiletries provided for just the weekend so I didn’t have to use hardly any of what I brought. Beautiful area and views and would definitely stay again!

We had an absolute blast in this house! The kids loved the arcade games and outdoor movie area. The parents loved all the space and accommodations. The hosts have thought of everything! The swimming pool is a short drive from the house; it's very nice, too. There is a deep end, so bring lifejackets if necessary. Be prepared to drive in the mountains--the roads are windy, the views are gorgeous! Overall, the experience was excellent!

This property is just as described. We had so much fun! So many things to do from playing ping pong, Bimini, foosball, checkers and arcade. We lost power due to a huge storm and the outdoor activities and grill was really fun and great to have. The owners are super responsive. Close to everything but secluded enough to have privacy. We saw 2 black bears and some wild turkeys passing through. It was fun to see. We do recommend arriving while there is daylight as the roads are very windy and steep. You then get used to it after a couple of times. This home has everything you would need. Lots of space and activities for everyone. Would definitely stay again and totally recommend!
