New Lake Michigan R & R Recently Completed Major Rehab

Clean, huge house! Just like the pictures. Thank you for another great visit! This was our third year in a row and hope to visit again next year.

This was the second time staying here. Was absolutely perfect for my family reunion.

Absolutely a 10 out of 10 in every way...clean, spacious, beautiful, every accommodation was well thought out and enjoyable, excellent host, great communication, close to lake, already planning our trip for next time.

We shared this property with another longtime family friend, their children and their grandchildren. We had 12 adults and five kids under four years old. Can I begin to say what a wonderful time we had and how this property accommodated us in every way. Anything and everything you would possibly need in the kitchen, which we all love to cook. Every bedroom had their own bathroom, and plenty of area in the rest of the house it was just such a comfortable place to be . We enjoyed the heated pool every day 10 minute walk to the beach and spent a few hours walking around town. The owners were a pleasure to deal with.

Property has plenty of rooms and bathrooms, . Not as clean as we would of liked for the price point. We had a great time! Perfect for family reunion!

The location was perfect! We had plenty of room for our guests to have privacy & still enjoy the company of the group. Perfect home for our stay! The kitchen was amazing- as well as the snacks our fabulous host left for us. We can’t wait to return! retrereurnreturnthe summer!!

Excellent and easy stay for groups medium and large! Clear communication and lots of hang out areas. Cold weather hot tub and kitchen appliances were great along with comfy beds.

Tim was wonderful. The space was roomy. The jacuzzi was hot. We brought a chef who fell in love with the kitchen

Great place and well worth the money.

We had a large group (8 families, including kids 3-10 years old). As our families have grown, it is increasingly hard to find a place where everyone has their own bed. This fit the bill! There was also plenty of space in the common areas -- 30+ seats for indoor and outdoor dining, two separate living rooms, a huge fire pit, and plenty of dishes to feed a crowd. Although I wouldn't say it was luxurious, everything was comfortable, clean, and exactly as pictured in the listing. The host, Ted, was friendly and helpful. He greeted us in person to show us around, provided great advice on local spots, and left a nice welcome basket. When we had an issue with the house, he responded within an hour and came out to check on things. The only reason I would not give 5 stars is that one of the basements smelled horrible -- very musty. We also had issues with water leaking in two different spots when people showered. The first time I thought maybe we had let too much water escape the shower curtain, but the second time we clearly didn't let any water get onto the floor. One of the leaks was into the musty basement, so I suspect it may have been happening for a while unnoticed. Ted was responsive, but it was a big enough plumbing problem that he couldn't resolve it during our stay. It was still a generally positive experience and we'd rent again if the leaks/smell are addressed. Kitchen was missing coffee filters, aluminum foil, & a whisk. Future renters may way want to BYO

Our company stayed here (12 of us) for two nights as a getaway. THere were ample bedrooms, plenty of sitting areas. The backyard/pool area is great, private, and perfect. Great bonfire area and plenty of seating. The kitchen is awesome and things were what we were looking for.

Grounds and service were perfect. Recommend highly!

The house had everything we needed. The pool area, firepit and seating options indoors and outdoors were wonderful! Access to beach was a plus- Bike riding areas were accessible-

The owner Tim was more than helpful, The adorable welcoming basket was a really nice touch. He toured the home with us and was very attentive to our needs. When the toaster went on the fritz he immediately replaced it with two brand new toasters. The location near the lake was very close. However, a map to the public entrance would have been helpful. LOL It is a darling home every thing you need to be comfortable. The KITCHEN is amazing. Many meals were prepared and we found everything we needed.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Lake Michigan Reunion and Retreat. We had 26 and the accommodations were wonderful; meeting all the needs of the family. LMRR is across the street from a railroad track crossing and so you hear the train horns however there were about ~5 trains per day. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

The owners were wonderful to work with! Since this was a stay for our wedding, we had many questions and they patiently connected with us multiple times leading up to the stay. Highly responsive and helpful. Even greeted us with a card and champagne 3. We will definitely be back, our wedding party is already planning a reunion in the future!

I highly recommend this house! We took 25 family members and everyone was thrilled with their accommodations. The pool and fire pit were a big hit! All but maybe one bedroom had their own private bathroom which is a huge benefit. The owners were very responsive and every text message I sent them over the months preceding our vacation were answered promptly. They even let us check in at noon, which gave us basically an additional day of vacation. We had one or two things we needed to help with at the house and they were there within minutes to assist us. I could not be happier with our stay!
