Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room is basically a hotel room with some rustic furniture, some in need of repair or replacement. The picture in the ad shows a bright room. In reality, it's quite dark unless you open the window shades up all the way which doesn't work a night. The light and fan over the bed does not work. There is not a light at all over the table, not even a lamp. The microwave/oven appears to be the newest appliance and appears to have a lot capability, if there were only some instructions to go with it. The Mr. Coffee worked great! The stove had been wiped at but was still very greasy to the touch. The gift that came with the room was a box of cleaning products which were needed to finish where the cleaning service left off. There were what appeared to be food bits on the floor in the kitchen and bathroom areas. The lighting in the kitchen and bathroom was fine so no excuse there. The beautiful window at the end of the room where you can look out at the mountains has not been cleaned in a long time, taking away from the view. The bathroom was clean except for the food (chips) on the floor. We did not make use of the other amenities e.g. Pool/hot tub available at the property, so I can't comment on those. The carpet appears fairly new and is not stained, where as the wall paper was starting to peel at many of the seams which further indicates that this room is in need of some attention. On a positive, there were no bugs. Also note that your contact information will be shared and you will start receiving SPAM before you get home from your vacation.

Clean, comfortable, beautiful view, fabulous golf course, gym, pool, hot tub secluded enough but 20 min from Durango. Would go back for sure!!!

Reviewer Comments: Minor recommendations for improvement:The bath towels could be replaced (pretty old).The coffee maker did not work well.When my key did not work one evening, I requested a new key from the person at the front desk. Rather than give me a new key, she insisted it was a problem with the lock on the door and called maintenance. After a nice gentleman from maintenance spent time to service the lock on the door (and I continued to wait to get into my room), he determined that the problem was, in fact, the key. It would have been nice if the front desk personnel had taken a few minutes to check the key first, as I had requested more than once.

Everything you need is on site - restaurants, gym, spa, playground for kids. Purgatory Ski area is within minutes and the views are spectacular.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room needs serious attention. The fan in the bathroom sounds like an airplane is crashing! The wallpaper is held together with thumbtacks. There's a small hole above our bed in the Ceiling and the air conditioning unit stopped working midway through the night. We had to stop it and restart it to get it to run.

Fantastic utopia right outside Durango, Co. Convenient to town and multiple great hiking trails. Highly recommend.
