Our families had such an incredible stay, the cabin had everything we needed and more. Giant hot tub, hang out space for the kids (pool table, movies and board games), fully stocked kitchen, gorgeous views, a great place to sled! The cabin is tucked just far enough away to be private yet close enough to town for fun adventures. The hosts were great, even gave us tips for things to do in Leavenworth. We will for sure be back!
Very impressed with this VRBO, close enough to Leavenworth, but also far enough that you can still forget about the rat race of life!
we were impressed with the cabin along with all the holiday deco. This was a time we gathered to celebrate our mother who passed away in June, was a festive time with family. The cabin was warm, cozy and had plenty of room for our family of 14.
The attention to detail at the this property is obvious from the moment you walk in door. The home is equipped with everything, EVERYTHING, you could possibly need while visiting. Every small detail is thought of and tended too. The kitchen is incredibly impressive with the array of cookware, kitchen appliances, and even spices. The wood burning stove on the main level added an extra level of cozy, winter mountain cabin feels. Location is great, a short scenic mountain drive to downtown Leavenworth. The road which takes you into town, drops you right downtown, avoiding the miles of getting-to-Leavenworth traffic. The upgrades are to many to list: large fire table on the patio, stunning wooden furniture throughout house, wifi connected tvs, fast internet, googles throughout, almost every small kitchen appliance, brand new appliances, even washer and dryer with soap provided, firepit outside with ample seating, beautiful clawfoot tubs in both bathrooms. Be mindful the property is on septic, meaning be mindful of water usage. If traveling with elderly, or young I suggest using a stool (in the bedrooms for big comfy beds) to get in & out of the tub, in addition to the tub assist handles. Last part of roadway in and driveway is gravel; other cabins near but not invasive on your privacy. Super cute hardware & more store 5/10 minutes down road. Delicious coffee drinks, cute gifts & souvenirs and lots of outdoorsy Property owner readily available to help if any problems arise.
Lots of extras that made this stay our best VRBO ever. From Kleenex next to the beds to kitchen equipment and staples- spices, etc. Very dog friendly with dog towels, dishes and even dog beds, Mattresses and sheets were all excellent. We all enjoyed the river at the Cabin, brought a few floats of our own. Teens especially enjoyed the games and pool table. Hot tub is BIG! Owners were responsive and helpful. Fun things in town too- within 30 minutes of the Adventure park. Horseback rides within 10 minutes. Plain Hardware has excellent ice cream. Plain Saturday farmers market (get there early)!! The neighbors down the road had fresh eggs. If you prefer the city this is not the place for you, but if you want to truly unwind and relax, there is no better spot; quiet and tranquil. We hope to come back soon.
Wow, this place is the best we have ever rented in eastern Washington. River in back of the house was perfect to swim in. You can even float down from the bridge to the property. We loved our stay and will be back. Thank you!
We had a great weekend away from the city at this cabin. The cabin is beautiful and well stocked with lots of space. We enjoyed being so close to the river and spent the hot afternoons cooling off. Highly recommend staying here!
Wonderful and spacious property and cabin, with riverfront for swimming and tubing and relaxing. Excellent for 'kids' of all ages! Well stocked kitchen, with fresh colorful eggs available down the road! Thank you Tracy!!
Great Property! Had everything you needed to have a relaxing time!
We had a wonderful stay, with friends and family, with plenty of room to spread out. Tracy and Jo are terrific hosts and the home is really well provisioned. We found everything we needed for our meal prep. We especially loved being able to inner tube the river and take out right there at the beach on the property. The grocery and hardwares stores in nearby Plain made last minute purchases super easy. We definitely plan to come back!
The Dancing Bear Cabin was a sheer delight and made our annual family winter vacation particularly memorable. The cabin was cozy and festive, a perfect home-away-from-home for our large family of sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren. We had plenty of room to eat as a family, read in a quiet corner by the fire, watch football, take a nap or soak in the beautiful view of Wenatchee River. Local activities of sledding, strolling through downtown Leavenworth and visiting a real Reindeer Farm! Thanks to our wonderful host Tracy who made everything so easy and fun.
We loved everything about this house. Great location, nice and comfortable furniture, super clean. It was well stocked and beautifully decorated for our Christmas stay. Beautiful property. The hosts were super kind and helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. Recommend.
An amazing cabin to enjoy the river view from!! We will be back in the summer as well!!
This house was well equipped with everything our crew needed. We were just so comfortable there and wouldn’t hesitate renting it again.
Quality of everything was top grade. Was not aware of stairs to main floor which made it difficult for me.
Wonderful place and beautiful spot on the river. Easy drive into Leavenworth but away from the crowds. Great place for families!
The property was gorgeous with the river so close. It was close to Leavenworth for shopping and secluded when you wanted peace and quite. We had a great time.
This is a great property, stocked with everything you might need, and decorated with lots of cute cabin touches. It’s a little tricky to find with Mapquest so pay attention to the owners directions !
My cousin and her family were visiting for the first time from the East Coast. As avid beer fans, we new Leavenworth had to be in the cards. Tracy's place was perfect! It's about 20-30 mins outside of Leavenworth. It's close to Fish Lake where we did some fishing. Right on the river with lots of area for enjoying outside. The fire pit on the balcony and the hot tub were group favorites! Tracy was an excellent owner. Very clear and communicative. We hope to stay here again.
This property is pretty amazing. The house was extremely clean and well stocked with anything you could think of. Plenty of space for 8 adults. We also rented the Trout Shack so we really had the entire property to ourselves. We’ve started a yearly tradition of going to Leavenworth for this weekend and now we’ll be coming back to this house every time. 10/10 reccomend!
Five of us escaped to this cabin in the woods for a desperately needed girls’ weekend. We ate, played games, and crafted at the big dining table; we were cozy chatting and laughing on the couches and chairs by the wood stove fireplace; we relaxed in the hot tub after an afternoon of hiking; and there was plenty of space to spread out when we needed some quiet time after shopping all afternoon in Leavenworth. The house was clean, spacious, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The property is right on the river and there’s a big fire pit. The hosts were quick to respond when we had a minor issue and it was easily resolved. We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect spot.
