This was a wonderful property for a family vacation - located centrally to various venues - the handicap accessibility was a plus - since my son is in a wheelchair - I would highly recommend it and look forward to booking it again!
The house was great. Very beautiful and comfortable. Beautiful views, comfy beds, and warm fireplaces made our stay memorable.
We had 11 people in this house spanning 3 generations, ranging in age from 13 to 86. The house was spacious enough for all of us and everything was clean and in very good condition. It was great being on the water so we could swim, and we also rented a boat for one day and did some hikion and biking in the area. I would very nuch recommend this home for larger groups (or smaller), My father even met one of the neighbors who gave us some home-grown tomatoes!
The house was so spacious and beautiful. The location was right on the lake and the views from the deck were amazing. We really enjoyed kayaking and relaxing on the deck and by the fire pit. We hated to see the week end.
We have a wonderful time. The house and the lake are so beautiful. The house was very clean and everything you could possibly need for a great trip is supplied for you. We will definitely stay again!
Beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood. House was as described and the host was easy to deal with.
Lovely and unique lake front cabin with beautiful Mountain Views. Beautiful landscaping, fire pits and dock on Lake Chatuge.
Four siblings and their extended families gathered together for awesome food and fun. Truly amazing!!! Beautiful house on the lake in the mountains!!!
This is a very beautiful home situated right on the lake with boat dock. Two outdoor fire pit with seating and plenty of fire wood to have evening fires. The home has a massive master bedroom and bath on the main floor, two smaller bedrooms on second floor with small shared bath and two bedrooms in basement that share a small bath. Internet is not very good, extremely slow and lots of doors need adjustment so they will close properly. The kitchen stove top needs to be secured properly in countertop so it doesn’t slide around when being used. The pellet stove in dining room doesn’t work. Light in master bedroom comes on by itself when fan is on, which is very aggravating when you want to sleep with fan on and light keeps coming on. Hot water takes forever to get to bathrooms since it is a instant water heater mounted all the way in the garage
Main level was very easy to navigate in my wheelchair. Ramp to the front door and an accessible shower. I could also go outside and get to the fire pit. Views of the lake and mountains were awesome.
This was our family’s first Lake vacation and it did not disappoint. This stunning house sits on beautiful Lake Chatuge. Having its own dock was a plus. We rented a pontoon boat and explored the Lake as well as paddle boarding and swimming. The house had a beautiful view.from its deck. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could need. We all loved the game room with nightly games of pool. And our family loved the fire pit for nightly s’mores. Our host was wonderful answering all questions we might have as well as giving us lots of information on the Hiawassee area since it was our first trip thee. We hope to come back and enjoy this beautiful home.again.
Home is amazing. Plenty of room. Very well equipped with enough linens, outside & inside furniture, kitchen dishes and 2 washers & dryers. That was awesome. Beds slept really good. Not your usual rental accommodations. Location was quiet, landscape was gorgeous and lake was beautiful and not busy at all. One of shower heads was leaking owner came within a few hours to repair. My Grands wanted to stay forever. We had a great week. Owner very nice and accommodating. Thanks for a great week of wonderful memories.
What a FANTASTIC home and property !! We rented for a long weekend for a work retreat for my husbands company ~ 3 couples. The accommodations were lovely. Comfortable beds and linens, fully stocked kitchen, all you could ask for. The views of the lake from all 3 levels were awesome too. One of our owners is in a wheelchair and he was fully able to navigate the home and bathroom as it has been abapted for a handicapped person. Kristina, the owner of the home, could not have been easier to deal with and answered all our questions before and during our stay. She was only a phone call away !! If you're looking for a unique home on a beautiful little slice of North Ga, this is your home !! We'll definitely be back ~
Our family had a wonderful time of relaxation and rejuvenation at this lovely Lakehouse! Owner was very responsive and helpful with information. The place truly had so many beautiful things to enjoy and take in. Some of my favorite were the huge windows allowing the sun to come in, as well as some gorgeous views. Not to mention the paddle boards and kayaks. Such a fun activity to provide for guests! The cleanliness of the house is noteworthy, as well as the high quality bed linens. All were very comfy and we were able to rest well. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of things to cook in. I would suggest offering a stainless steel alternative to the nonstick cooking pots. Just a suggestion, as we love to make hot tea. In our case we went to the Ingles grocery store nearby and bought one. Also, it’s important to remember to bring your own wood. We brought enough and left some for the guest coming after us. All in all, we truly enjoyed our stay!
