Very beautiful location with a lovely backyard outdoor space. Large home that accommodates everyone very well. Fully equipped kitchen for our Easter meal and game room. The kids loved it!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!! Would recommend to anyone.

The Sourdough Lodge was perfect for our family spring break! The game room kept everyone busy when the weather was poor and is set up perfect to watch your favorite sporting event.Our family ended up eating in most nights because the kitchen and patio area had everything we needed for relaxing and dining in. Overall the place was clean and comfortable. We had deer visit us each morning and evening. Highly recommend this place!

The Sourdough Canyon Lodge is awesome. The house is spotless, the game room was incredible and we really enjoyed the Sauna and firepit. Sue was always available to answer questions, her communication was excellent.

Had a great stay at the Sourdough Canyon Lodge. This property was great for our family ski trip with close access to Bridger Bowl and Big Sky. Trips into Bozeman were a breeze. Property is expansive with ample rooms and bathrooms for all. Everything clean and well stocked. The game room was quite the bonus! Hope to be back!

This was our 4th time staying at this gorgeous home. Sue is the most incredible host I have ever worked with. So accommodating and helpful. If you’re looking for a true Montana experience this is your place! Very well equipped, comfortable bedding, extremely clean, spacious and the backyard is to die for, including the darling Creek that runs through it. Wildlife every morning, private, quiet and at the base of the popular sourdough hiking trail. Minutes to downtown or on the way to big sky. The game room adds an element that is compared to no other making the stay for adults and kids so much fun. Sue bends over backwards to make everything perfect. She even brought over Valentines cookies during our last stay. I just can’t say enough about the property, the house and Sue. Can’t wait for our next trip! If you are considering renting this property, please respect and abide by the few simple rules. It would be a shame to have this taken out of the VRBO system and ruin it for others. This is an absolute 10/10!!!!!!

Utterly amazing!The magnitude of the home exceeds the pictures. Its scale is grand. We stayed for 5 days for our geographically-spread family’s post-Christmas Christmas. Sue was even kind enough to leave the holiday decorations up for us, which made it even more special. It couldn’t have been more perfect!! Everyone went crazy over the unbelievable game room and spent many hours there. The outdoor sauna “shed” by the creek was also a big hit. The house was incredibly clean and well appointed with all supplies needed. We loved that it was literally 10 minutes from town but felt a world away. You can’t even see another house from this home! Sue was very responsive to all inquiries, but we had no problems at all while there. Everything was in good condition and functional. We truly hope to stay again.

Easy, kind, and prompt communication with the host. She was incredibly helpful and wanted to do whatever possible to make our festive family time fantastic. The house is lovey, the kitchen very well equipped, the table perfect for a celebration and the game room just right for a winter’s evening with family and friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The owner is so friendly and accessible. We really appreciated that basics were stocked in the pantry/fridge. There was no need to run out for more toilet paper/paper towels/laundry detergent. The views are beautiful. The home is beautiful. We had a great first family vacation away with our adult children & first grandchild! Oh, they have a pack & play which was so helpful!

We loved Sourdough Canyon Lodge so much the first time, we had to come back—and it didn’t disappoint! The property is beautiful and wonderfully private. The rooms are large and comfortable, the great room has that perfect cozy lodge vibe, and the kids adore the yard and game room. Everyone enjoyed the creek, we even caught a few trout. Add in comfy beds and a well-stocked kitchen, and it’s everything you could ask for.

Every part of this property is beautiful. The home is very family friendly and has space for everyone.

This is a lovely home just outside Bozeman. You feel as though you are in the middle of nowhere, yet you are just a short ride into town. There is plenty of space for everyone, inside and out. The kitchen and living spaces are well situated and appointed. The bedrooms are spacious yet cozy and very comfortable. The game room is beautiful and wonderful for some friendly competition. All of the gaming equipment is high quality. The outside seating and dining area leads out to a lovely grassy space and fire pit. Beyond that, the wood burning sauna sits next to a trickling stream. It couldn't be more peaceful. We saw deer every day (we were hoping to catch a glimpse of a bear, but no such luck!). We utilized every space, but I think the crowd favorite was the sauna! We enjoyed it morning and night!Sue is a gracious host who is willing to go above and beyond to ensure you have an enjoyable stay.Our entire crew plans to return!

This was our fourth stay at this wonderful property. Inside and out it is a treat for the eyes. The home is well appointed and very comfortable and livable. The game room is absolutely over the top and provides hours of fun. Outdoors is full of wild life and trails nearby. Sue and her team are top notch, and so responsive to any and all needs or requests. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for three nights in July. The home was clean and well appointed with everything we needed for cooking meals. Everyone loved the game room and the sauna. Volleyball has a hit as well. Location was quiet, yet very close to town. Sue was particularly helpful helping us get situated. Already planning a trip back…

We had an unforgettable stay at this incredible Montana home! Our group of 8 felt right at home the moment we arrived. The house was spacious, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches that made our trip so special.We started each day with home-cooked breakfasts around the beautiful indoor and outdoor dining tables, and ended with dinners that felt like something out of a movie—surrounded by nature and fresh mountain air.The game room was a huge hit! We spent countless hours playing ping pong, pool, shuffleboard, and basketball—so many laughs and memories made. One of the most unique highlights was the wood-fired sauna followed by a refreshing step into the creek. It was the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.After long days exploring Montana, coming back to this peaceful home was a dream. It truly had everything we needed and more. We’re already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend!

No doubt why this property has perfect 5 Stars and...the pictures do not do it full justice! The property is beautifully furnished and I can't say there isn't something you would need that isn't already on site. The interior wood worksmanship is amazing and impressive. Quality, top on the lines appliances and the property cleanliness is immaculate. There's a perfect mix of raw, primative rustic to modern appliances and fixtures. Each room tells a story with plenty of room in the main level, upper level and the amazing game room. Excellent communication prior to arriving and during or staying. A Gem!

Great location for our family to gather while visiting our son who lives in Bozeman. Plenty of space to gather together inside and outside. Game room was a fun bonus! We will definitely stay again when visiting Bozeman.

We had two families with 3 kids total. The house is truly better than the photos, with all the amenities you might want or need. We enjoyed the game room and all the generous living areas. Beds are very comfortable. This is a great location for the Bozeman area — it’s far enough out from town that it feels secluded, but close to everything.

This home exceeded all of our expectations. We booked this home for 8 days over Christmas with our adult children. The house was designed so well that everyone had their own room and each room was very comfortable. The game room was absolutely amazing and our family loved using the sauna. The location was ideal for us being only a few minutes from Bozeman, less then an hour drive to Big Sky and only 30-40 minutes to skiing at Bridger Bowl. If we ever come back to Bozeman, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This house is spectacular! Massive rooms with tall ceilings and space everywhere! Huge dining table to have the group together and enjoyed BBQ and more. The kids enjoyed the game room most of all! Sue is so generous and kind with her time and efforts to make sure we had everything we needed.

Once again, this property did not disappoint! It’s the perfect place to stay with family when you just want to enjoy each other’s company. It could not have been a more perfect stay.

We had a blast. Weather was perfect. Cooking options inside and outside were great. Close and easy to everywhere we went. Sue was very accommodating. She made it easy.

My friends, brothers and I had a great guys trip at this cabin. Very spacious, amazing place. Loved the back deck and outdoor dining with the beautiful Aspens surrounding the property. Appreciated the fire pit stocked with logs. Very private. Close and convenient to Bozeman and surrounding activities. We were so busy hiking and fishing, we didn’t get enough time to enjoy the cabin itself. But it was truly amazing. It would be my first choice spot for my next Bozeman stay.

This lodge is one of the best places I have ever stayed at. It was exceptionally clean, homey, comfortable and spacious! Sue is a fantastic host who cares about your vacation. The house had everything and you could tell there has been a lot of thought into making the guests comfortable. The yard space, sauna and river made for some great outdoor time and allowed for a very competitive volleyball game. The 3000 sq ft gameroom is gorgeous and worth the stay alone!! It is perfect for kids of all ages and adults. Thank you for the stay and allowing my family to make some unforgettable memories. We look forward to returning!!

Fantastic house with all the amenities ever needed. The house is clean, well maintained, stocked with all you necessities including dishes, pots, pans, etc. Even the fire wood is chopped and stacked for the fire place, fire pit, and sauna. This is our second stay at this house. We have never been in a more comfortable, accommodating house. Sue is wonderful and responds to all your questions and concerns within a few minutes. We will return for a third stay!

The photos on this listing just don’t do this property justice. The home is absolutely stunning as well as the surrounding property. To top it all off the interior of the home is not only immaculate, but well thought out and appointed and every creature comfort you could imagine is available. Wait until you lay your eyes on the gorgeous game room. It is unreal. The owner was so excellent in her communication and accommodating any little request we had and it was so appreciated. The beds were so super comfy, and it says a lot coming from our picky daughter! Honestly, we just can’t say enough about this property. We cannot wait to go back. We stayed for the month and it wasn’t long enough. Felt like home right away. The home is stunning and the setting unmatched. So many things to do close by, but just hanging out is so relaxing and fun. Plenty of wildlife to view. This house has it all, and then some. The property manager is incredibly helpful and responsive.
