Hilltop Lodge Standard Double - Room 109

We stayed one night and realized that the air conditioner was frozen up with ice. I sent a text to the manager about it and he responded within a couple minutes. He came right over to take care of it. Very prompt and polite. The only negative thing was we found a dirty sock in the bathroom under the floorboard radiator that was not ours. It’s not really that big of a deal but seemed kind of gross at the time. We just threw it in the trash. Over all, the room was older but clean. The management was amazing! No complaints about him!

Pretty much exactly what you paid for!

Carpet needs attention. Smelled! No door for the extra room. Bed was great! Towels were clean and fresh. Window blinds were pretty dusty. Heat worked great. Air conditioner had no knobs. It would be difficult for theelderly to utilize with a pair of pliers! The light switch for the light over the bed was working intermittently. Overall, the lighting was poor, especially in the bathroom.

Great place for the price and location. Listed as a 2 bedroom but really was one room with a divider wall between the beds (no doors). Spent very little time there but had what we needed - comfortable beds and warm showers.

Brought the family up for a trip to Voyageurs National Park and didn't want to completely break the bank on a room to sleep. The Hilltop was convenient located right on the main drag of IF, check in was super easy, as was check out. Brandy was readily available if needed during our stay although we didn't need anything. The room was as described. They aren't newly renovated or high end, but they serve their purpose, good size, clean, quiet. Definitely worth the price!
