Cosy Quiet Lodge in Picturesque Garden and Orchard

Aileen and Kev were outstanding hosts. We had a lovey stay. Property is situated in a beautiful part of New Plymouth. We highly recommend and would defintly stay again!!!

Property was a nice peaceful setting.

A beautiful, quiet place with lots of birds around. It seems like the perfect place for a quiet retreat or a relaxed holiday where you don't want to be directly in the city but close enough to it that it's easy and quick to get to everywhere you want to go. The house is in a great nick, and the owners, Aileen and Kevin are really nice and welcoming. I'll definitely be back.

The hosts are lovely people. Very welcoming.The cottage is immaculaty presented with everything you need.The setting is country quiet.

Hosts were friendly and welcome you when they arrive. 10-14min outside of city centre with a rural flavour. Main house is attached to the bach, but it is very private. Neighbours roosters crow early morning but I prefer that to the noise of traffic. Lovely cool place to chill out after a long day out. Offered avocados & tomatoes.

Lovely accommodation in peaceful surroundings & just a few km's from central New Plymouth. Also, great for our pet dog; ( lots of trees ).

A lovely cottage set in gorgeous surroundings with welcoming hosts. Perfect for a couple on a short break. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights. Our hosts were amazing, we didnt feel like strangers at all. We were even lucky enough to be given some delicious avacados. The unit is clean and has everthing you need. Handy to the city and still peaceful enough that you feel in the country. The property is beautiful and the hosts are very pet friendly . I did find it a bit difficult with no enclosed yard for my 2 small dogs.

The garden is absolutely gorgeous and made for a lovely spot to walk around in and enjoy away from the city. Still close to town and lots of amenities. Absolutely fantastic shower pressure too!

Aileen greeted us on arrival, she was so warm and welcoming. We felt very comfortable in the lovely cottage and garden setting. Enjoyed strolling around the orchard. Loved the bag of produce Kevin gave us when we left. The bird life was amazing. We’ll be staying there when we next visit New Plymouth. Thank you both?

Our second time staying here as we had such a wonderful stay last time. Kev and Aileen are incredible hosts and made us and the dogs feel at home. We look forward to staying here again next time we're down that way.
