Stayed Sep 29, 2024If you’re going to Stowe, I highly recommend staying at Spruce Peak. This lodge feels more like a resort than a typical hotel. For dining, there are two restaurants, a small convenience store with snacks and essentials, and a breakfast cafe. You will also find several gift shops and winter outfitters. Rooms are spacious. The entire property feels very warm and rustic. There is also a small gondola that brings you directly to the big gondola so you don’t have to drive across the street. This is super handy if you enjoy skiing. I really just can’t say enough good things about this place. A

Stayed Feb 25, 2022This place is a must! Is so beautiful. The staff are super friendly. I can’t say much about the restaurants because we always ate outside.we did decide to go to the bar and get a drink, that was a bit pricey but other than that everything was amazing. The little town they have inside the resort is so cute. Definitely will be coming back

Stayed Aug 9, 2021The concierge service from pulling in for the first time until packing up your car to leave was 5 star service. Unfortunately for us, I believe that our trip was effected by staffing problems (like the rest of the nation). For instance, only one restaurant on property was open our entire stay during the week. We had to go off property for a couple meals (not a huge deal as we do love Stowe. But eating on property would have been a lot more convenient with two kids.) The hot tubs were emptied as well, not really sure why, but randomly filled on our last day there. I noticed that many of the “family activities” were held only on weekends which seemed strange since the resort was full of families Monday-Friday (probably staffing again). The resort offered a beautiful pool, fantastic pool bar, amazing walking trails, quick room service and wonderful customer service.

The village at the base is welcoming with a nice variety of dining options—everything from casual to upscale was tasty and satisfying. The free gondola ride from the village to the mountain was a convenient and scenic perk, making it easy to access the main gondola in October. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a balcony offering pleasant views of the pool and mountain. Overall, it’s a great spot for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Stayed Sep 19, 2024Between the room, the property and the location not much could be changed to make it better. The staff and communication was great, the room was better then expected, and the location was the perfect jumping point for excursions to breweries, food, and hiking. We will absolutely book again.
