Key West, Florida
As you starting reading about my boat, I would like to tell you what we doing to
protect traveling public from Covid-19 Corona Virus. First of all, you are on my boat by yourself with your group away from other boats at least 10ft. There is no direct contact with other boats in the marina. The boat is cleaned and disinfected with chemicals like Lyzol. All surfaces are cleaned, wiped and mapped before each arrival.
If you request additional cleaning during the stay, we can arrange it. All linens and towels are washed in extra hot water. Additional, if there is anything else you might need to make your stay more comfortable, please just ask.

The Experience:
The boat is in a protected part of the marina, but there can be some occasional movement during the day when boats pass by. At night, the waters are very calm and some guests even find that a bit of gentle swaying relaxes them and makes for a very restful sleep.
After a long day of touring the island there is nothing better than relaxing on your own private sun deck with a cold drink in hand, listening to the soothing sounds of the ocean as you enjoy a fantastic waterfront view! So come join us and float all your cares away aboard Lucy!
Stock Island Village Marina has twice daily cleaned showers and bathrooms for all guests staying on the boat. There are laundry facility.
Deluna's Bar & Grill is on the front of the marina with live music
Brand new Perry Hotel is a part of Stock Island Marina. Hotel and has 2 great restaurants and outdoor bar with live music on weekends. Marina is housing charter boats that you take people on sailing/fishing and diving trips.
Hurricane Hole Marina has power boats that you can
rent for half of full day to go fishing or snorkeling. It is located 5 minutes drive from Stock Island Marina
Available charters: Dolphin Safari family dolphin watching day trips. Catamaran Tour and Sunset Sail sailing and snorkel trips, Eddy Griffit and Y-Not Charter fishing trips, Lost Reef and Fins diving trips. You can call any of them and set up reservations.
Note: Please board the boat with bare feet or white sole boat shoes. Shoe scuffs are very hard to clean and we will charge additional cleaning fee if boat has been left with shoe markings.
You are on a boat in a marina. No TV but cell signal is good. We enjoyed being offline. The sounds of the marina are pleasing and we slept really well! Beds are comfy, though you do have to climb up into them. I was able to cook eggs and make simple meals in the kitchen. It was really nice to eat out on the sundeck of the boat and have a bottle of wine. The hotel restaurants are nice enough and we made good use of the pool and shuttle. The first day we were there, a HUGE manatee stopped by to visit. It's a really laid-back vacation spot.
Staying on a boat was a first for our group. I will say it’s a very unique experience that we enjoyed! Pretty sure we have found a new way of arranging our travel plans! Everything was clean and exactly as described. Thank you so very much for a great experience!!
This was a graduation gift for my niece. She and her friend (18 yr olds), my husband and I planned this get away and it was awesome. SV Lucy was comfy, well equipped, clean and we loved hanging on the back deck with coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening. Ray the caretaker was wonderful, responsive and helpful. Having the hotel pool was a bonus. It was a wonderful adventure, my niece thinks I am the coolest Aunt ever and we cannot wait to do it again.
Great little getaway for myself and buddies we all had our own room and bathroom and it was not that far away from the fishing trips we took. One charter met us at the marina. Would recommend for anyone wanting to getaway
I thought to give this a try. After all, we just needed a place to sleep after a full day of excursions. Although there were 3 bathrooms, it was better to make use of the bathhouses for showers as they were roomier. The gentle rock from the waves kept me asleep and was almost unnoticeable. The beds were comfortable. There was a PlayStation 3 with a variety of games to play and videos to watch if you have the time. The poolside cafe served great food and drinks. Laundry facility was clean. I would do this again!
We enjoyed our time on the Lucy. We have never stayed on a boat before so it took us a little bit to get used to the up’s and downs of the two hulls but i think by the time we left we did pretty well. Having the hotel with a shuttle to town was great, as parking is very expensive in Key West Thanks again
Enjoyed our 4 night stay! Kitchen well outfitted for cooking. Fridge was big enough to store cold drinks, food etc. The resort was nice and the shuttle was timely and helpful. Had a couple HVAC issues but Ray the property manager was quick to respond and there were no impacts to our stay. There were 5 adult size people in our party and we all slept well. The closest marina bath/shower was a single person use and it was occupied a lot. There is another bank of more bath/shower units about twice the distance and nicer to use. These were next to the laundry units which we used and worked out well. There was a small convenience type store that had basics and reasonable pricing considering. Both pools were nice. The newer pool area was really nice! We weren’t too impressed with pool bar food but drinks were fine. We didn’t dine at Matt’s, the resorts fine dining restaurant. We went to the several local places to eat. Hogfish was our favorite. Kids enjoyed seeing the tarpon and shark swimming in the marina waters;-) Overall, this was a great value and a different experience compared to a hotel room. Just keep in mind, it’s a boat, not a hotel so it’s different (but nice).
We totally enjoyed our 3 day trip, our accommodations on the Lucie and visiting beautiful Key West. The weather was spectacular, balmy breezes, lukewarm temps, gorgeous water, activities galore for the entire family and wonderful local reastaurants...El Moucho, El Siboney, Mangia Mangia and Blue Heaven. We couldn't be more pleased with our trip. Tyvm to Cesar and Ray....we loved our stay!
A fun new experience for our family’s trip to the Keys. Easy to connect with property manager. One parking space on pier near dock. 15 minutes to Key West old town. Shuttle available.
Staying on this boat was definitely a unique vacation experience. The marina it is located in is excellent. We traveled with our two young children (age 7 & 5) so having access to the hotel pool was great! My kids didn't want to leave and keep asking when we can go back!
We loved staying in the boat and when we come back I will stay here again if available, an excellent place to use as a base to enjoy the Keys, even for the days you won't be doing much outside of the marina you will have plenty of options including pools, gym, bar, restaurants, and bbq area. Your personal experience within the boat will vary accordingly with your size and comfort level, the majority of our group (6 guests) was under 5'8, one person was 6'2 and one of the beds was on the short side for him, easy fix just managing the group to different beds on the second night This is a boat and not a 5-star hotel! If you are used (and like) to camping or boating you will feel like home and enjoy your trip a lot! If you are used to 5-star hotels and not ready to accept new experiences you should go to your hotel, or at least don't compare a hotel to the boat. A nice boat on a nice marina surrounded by nice things to do, you are all set to a great vacation to the Keys, make it happen! A quick note about some reviews that mention smells, personal items, and space size. This is a boat so expect tight quarters compared to your normal life, a boat ready to sail, smells come with a boat and is very prudent to any boater to carry tools and some critical parts when sailing, this is someone else vacation place so expect to find things there that are not yours
