Floating In Paradise On The Azul Project

This was a fantastic surprise from my hubbys birthday! Beautiful views, quite neighbors. This boat is cozy and the outdoor decks are wonderful. Great communication with the owner. Lots of information and helpful. Thank you!

The houseboat was a novel and enjoyable experience. The listing is very accurate. The marina was quiet and the view, beautiful and serene, especially from the top deck. The host, Gia was fantastic and her communication skills, exceptional.

Staying on the Azul Project was everything I expected and more. Boat was very clean, the location was great and the host was terrific. I would definitely stay aboard the next time I'm visiting the OBX. 5 stars plus!

Simply loved staying on this beautiful boat! Cozy but still roomy inside, just right for a romantic getaway. Communication with the host was just right, plenty of tips for being comfortable on the boat and ideas for places to go in the area.

My husband and I had a amazing trip, Gia was the best host , a pleasure to talk with. The boat was clean and beautiful, amazing views from both decks , we used the kayaks and paddled on a quiet waterway in the morning and enjoyed swimming at the club pool afterwards. I can't say enough wonderful things, a weekend wasn't long enough, we look forward to coming back. Thank you for sharing your boat with us.

I love the boat. Emails were answered in a timely manner.. Was not able to enjoy the pool or the other extra. Every time I went the door was locked was told yesterday where the key was…..I was so scared of getting on and off the boat. I had no clue the distance from the deck to the boat. I honestly only went out when I had to. Nice people on the deck though many people helped me out.

My wife and I booked the Azul for a weekend Easter getaway. We had a lovely time. Gia was a wonderful host and communicated very well how to check in and informed me of boat policies. We spent most of our time on the sundeck with the nice outdoor furniture and artificial grass carpet. I felt like I was being rocked gently to sleep at night on the very comfortable bed. Stripers Bar and Grill, Darrells Seafood Resraurant, and McDonalds are all easily walkable from this boat. Will definitely recommend this place. Thank you Gia!!! We were honored to stay here.

I very much enjoyed this unique experience of houseboat living. I knew I would enjoy the marina life and being on the water sounded wonderful. However, it really is not really dependent on the tides as to how your are able to board the boat. You WILL have at least 3 feet to step/jump over to get on the boats deck. As a single person, I found this not to work very well. My suitcase and groceries were difficult at times to bring onboard by myself. With that being said, the last day there, one of the bags I was bringing with me ended up at the bottom of the sound with my Jeep Fob in it. Make sure you keep your keys on a floatable keyring. Not just this case, but I feel these sites do a horrible job with check-in directions in general. Terrible. I had no idea where the boat was and I was coming in late at night. Gia, as host, was great. Quick responses and very helpful. If you are not aware of septic systems that cannot accept anything but waste, no paper, no nothing...that takes a little getting used too. Overall, it was a nice time....My only real issue with how to get on and off the boat easily, L- Wallace

My sweetie and I got a chance to run away on Christmas Day and so I decided to surprise him with a night on the ocean in a boat,,, the furthest thing from our mountain farm. It was perfect!!! Roomy and tons of windows, the waves rocked us to sleep and the sunrise woke us up. I can’t wait to book again for a longer stay in the summer when I can use all the decks to take naps.
