Was very impressed by this houseboat. Will definitely refer family and friends. I already posted pictures and business card on my FB. Will most definitely be returning!
We had a great time on houseboat...already planning a trip back this fall
This houseboat truly was the best of both worlds…on the water - with all the room and comforts of home. Great communication and accommodation from the friendly hosts…including letting us borrow a personal flashlight for night fishing ?! The views of boats passing by was so beautiful and soothing. Location/proximity to both the Beaufort and Morehead City helped make this a terrific place to call home during our stay. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!
We loved our stay on this houseboat. The listing and pictures are exactly what we found. We had plenty of space for our family of 3 and 2 dogs. We cooked in a few nights and the kitchen had the basics needed. The AC and fans were very welcome since it was HOT ! The RV park where the houseboat is docked is nicely maintained ~ a nice grassy area to walk the dogs ~ very clean laundry room / bathroom ~ and an outdoor shower ! There is a full bath in the houseboat too! My husband and son enjoyed dropping their fishing poles right off the back. It was fun seeing all the boats drive by ~ and you do feel it. We enjoyed going to both downtown Beaufort and Morehead City and did a day trip to New Bern too. We found a few dog friendly places too (we especially loved Taps and Tackle in Morehaed City ~ FANTASTIC tacos and they brought bacon over for the dogs !! Ice cream is delish at Beaufort Creamery and great brunch choices at Black Sheep). All around a great experience ~ different and fun change from a house / room / hotel etc. Would definitely stay again. Richard and Janet were so friendly and helpful and responsive. Could not ask for better hosts !!!!
First time on a houseboat. It was an amazing experience with awesome fishing!! Beautiful sunsets. Management is great.
The houseboat was good but the mattresses on the beds were old and out dated. One of the window blinds was broken. We still had a great time and caught a lot of fish.
This boathouse is well kept and clean. Lots of boats to see coming and going. Beautiful views. Central A/c was awesome… I didn’t expect that. Richard was very nice and helpful.
We love the location and Richard is on top of things but we were disappointed with the toilet and the couch needs to be replaced as well as the queen mattress. The stove burners need to be looked at because the front right burner did not work. Overall we really do love to stay there and enjoy the fishing and the activity of Adams Creek
My wife and I absolutely loved staying here. It's an awesome experience to be able to feel the rocking of the house as the boats pass by. Speaking of boats......tons of boats pass by from little to big. We also had multiple times where we saw dolphins swimming by. We loved being able to just step out the door and fish too! The whole experience was a lot of fun and we can't wait to go back again. Richard checked on us multiple times and was quick to answer the phone.
If you've never lived on a houseboat, do it. This waa our 2nd time. Not the last time. The Crystal Coast is a great vacation area. Fantastic food everywhere. Try the Sanitary restaurant, Finz, Snappers, Saltwater grill, Dank burrito, Smithfields, the Fuzzy Peach, Simply Natrual creamery, happycakes. Many more.
Everything was great. An experience we will repeat!
Enjoyed our stay
The property is in a great location if you’re looking to get away from it all. It’s secluded and quiet just enough to allow you to relax and clear your head.
Enjoy this unique property..Fished from the rocking chair most of the weekend.. Loved watching the yachts, barges, and other boats come and go along the intercoastal waterway. 15 minutes from the Beaufort waterfront. Never made it to the ocean because we were so content on sitting on the porch of the houseboat.
Richard was great and easy to work with.
