i LIKED THE WARM POOL AND THE RESTAURANT. NEAT TO BE ON THE MARINA. DIDN'T LIKE PAYING FOR bREAKFAST AND ONE MORNING I ONLY HAD $11.00 AND DESK DIDN'T HAVE 30 CENTS CHANGE REALLY. GETTING A SMALL SAMPLE BOTTLE OF SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER REALLY AND HAVING TO PAY $1.00 FOR OTHERS WAS OUTRAGEOUS. ALL MY OTHER HOTELS HAVE DOVE ATTACHED TO WALL-MAYBE YOU SHOULD LOOK INTO DOING THAT. CLOSENESS TO POOL AND FIRST FLOOR WAS SO NICE. HAVING A RESTAURANT THERE ALSO GREAT. IF I STAY AGAIN I'LL BRING MY OWN SHAMPOO FROM HOME TO SAVE MONEY.

The property on the marina side is excellent.

Great value. Tiki Bar on site has great live music and a fun menu.

No hot water in shower Shower drain plugged Cockroach seen in room Wiped down surfaces with disenfecting cloths which were filthy by the time we was done. No stopper in sink.. Nice fridge freezer. Nice yard and plenty of chairs to sit in along the marina. I enjoyed watching the aircraft coming in.

The unit is a renovated small motel room, one of approximately 50-75(?) in a former wing of the adjacent Ramada Inn. Owner had good intentions but poor taste. Furniture is too large, making it seem even smaller. Lots of rules, few amenities. There is a very good Tiki bar/restaurant next door and a nice, large, very cold unheated pool. Nice wharf ambiance.

They was doing construction the entire stay making all kinds of noise when we just wanted piece and quite.The towel rack by sink was falling off the wall when we checked in.I enjoyed the pool but that was about it.

I was hesitant to rent this property after reading mixed reviews. As a older, single woman traveling alone, safety is a concern. I loved the atmosphere of the place - it was vibrant and fun, but definitely not quiet. Between the boats in the harbor, the tiki bar and swimming pool things were always humming. The room was nice, although not luxurious. The bed was comfortable, but the shower was horrible as it had no water pressure and the handle is on backwards so hot water is when you first barely move the handle and cold is all the way on. Because of this, I didn't think I had hot water at all. I tried to call the live in caretaker and got no response. Finally called the owner and it turns out the caretaker is no longer available even though the welcome letter from VRBO gave his name and phone number as the contact. Thats the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I would definitely reserve this room again if I was in the area.

right between airport and resort....very convenient, and a beer stop across the street.

The place makes me very uncomfortable. I had to check out a day early. The linen is kinda old and the fabric was not smooth. It gives me itch for the whole night. The lights are so dim in the room and makes the whole environment very creepy. No hot water at all. Ants crawling around.

I like being able to have the boat so close to the unit the sea wall docking is nice

My friends booked the hotel portion of the Ramada, when we entered their room, it was modernized, ours was not. The base of the toilet was looking dirty, with pee drips, to which I took pictures. When I sat on toilet… there was a pin hole in the ceiling above, to which I got some drips on me. Hopefully it wasn’t a toilet leak from the room above. What my friends and I observed on the premises with the rooms to either sides of us with people actually living there, apparently year round was very sketchy. Different individuals going in and out, you can only imagine made us uncomfortable. Overall we made it work, as we were there to look around Sarasota up-to to Clearwater and surrounding towns and beaches. Oh and the Laundry unit was out of order! Restaurant portion was nice, which was located on the Marina side.

Hotel is great, I stayed during Presidents Cup and it was convenient and beautiful.

Room was clean and as advertised. As a person with a Prosthetic leg the only thing that could have been more convenient would have been to have grab bars and a shower stool available in the shower .. would stay here again .

Toilet sprayed water all over. A hose came off. Shower was very slow. Not much water coming out. Think it got put back together backwards.

Enjoyable

The location is perfect. Close to pretty much everything! Right on the bay. Music at the tiki-but not so loud you cant enjoy a quiet room! Host was super responsive!

I would stay at the Ramada again but I would go as a hotel guest and not use VRBO. You would want the amenities of the hotel. We had to pay for breakfast and toilet paper.We had to pay for breae wanted

Everything about this property was perfect. Room was clean excellent seating on the marina to view the sunset and listen to music from the Tiki Bar. They provided great entertainment along with friendly service and good food. We hope to be able to return to this property again next year

The room was immaculate and property is well maintained with an amazing tiki bar on property with great views of the sunset.

Great spot to relax. I had a room overlooking the marina and a tiki bar next door.

Very nice trip. Hope to go back there again.
