The Lorca is inspired by the classic American roadside nature lodge, a short walk to the beautiful Indian Lake.

Our 8-room property brings together fire pits, trails, and a picnic area. With natural pine and organic materials, your room is a calm place to get into the woods--a basecamp for adventure.

Our focus is on providing a serene environment that allows our guests to disconnect from screens and immerse themselves in the natural beauty that surrounds us. Our rooms do not have TVs.

It's a quiet place. Very clean. Bathroom needed a little work and the lighting is quite dim but overall a decent place to stay.

This was my first stay, the check in process was easy, and the room was clean and made up for my arrival. The only issue, was my room did not have any hot water, so showers were challenging. But besides that a great location

This was the cleanest motel I have ever stayed at. The new decor was very nice and neat. Space warmer was nice for winter. Water also was warm . Plenty array of hot beverages. We arrived late during a snow storm and had extended difficulties getting our SUV down the driveway. We were plowed out early the next morning which was appreciated. There was some draft under the door, but we were still warm. Bed was comfortable which was nice after a long day of skiing. Nice access to Indian lake boat launch which we used for snow shoeing. As long as you are okay with forgoing a kitchen/kitchenette, this is the perfect place to rest in this area of the ADK (you can still brew coffee and cocoa!) You can hear some noise from your neighbors, but nothing that inhibited our sleep. Usually I am wary of motels, but this was by far the nicest one I have every stayed at and we would stay again.
