29 Pelham Street is located in one of the most sought after locations in Newport on historic Pelham St. You are a five minute walk to famous Newport landmarks such as: Bannisters & Bowens Wharf, Trinity and St. Mary's Church and The Black Pearl Restaurant. Truly, you are in the heart of it all with dozens of restaurants, shops, bars and sights right outside your door.

Hop in your car for a 10 minute drive to both the Ocean Drive and Bellevue Avenue Preservation Society Mansions.


Windward Suites properties are all keyless, and instead use keypad smart locks for all of the doors for both the buildings and units. All guests will receive an email the morning of their arrival with the instructions, codes to the doors and Wifi. Super easy!

Check-in time is anytime after 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Please be respectful of these times unless you have contacted us, as we have a cleaning crew who need the time to do a thorough job before and after all of our guests.

Parking is located behind the building with two spaces alongside the building as well. There is one space allocated per room.

29 Pelham Street is a truly unique property. It is modern and fully updated Boutique Inn, meaning, there are common areas which all guests have access to and can use at their leisure, including the living room, dining room, and kitchen, office, and deck.

However, it also boasts six private bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathroom, as well as one two bedroom suite, also with an ensuite bathroom. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, some coming equipped with pull out sofa beds, and the renovated bathrooms all have glass walk-in showers.

This is a dog friendly property with parking for seven cars. The entire building was recently upgraded to mini splits in each room. Cleanliness is our top priority as well as providing guests with high end linens, towels and toiletries.

    We loved the location, a few minutes to the wharf, minutes up to Spring Street or to Bellevue Avenue or to Thames Street. Off street parking, nice size and comfortable rooms. Just know that it is not handicap accessible.

    Lovely room in a quiet house with access to the professional level kitchen, though we didn't use the common areas. Very nice bathroom, nice king bed. My daughter slept on the pullout coach which was not comfortable at all — our only criticism. I would stay here again without hesitation. Location is excellent, right off of Thames St., yet quiet.

    This was our second time staying, and it was very nice. The only thing I would mention is that the drain in the bathroom sink is very slow and likely clogged. I tried to open and close the stopper, but that didn't do anything.

    The house was very easy to find and the on site parking was such a blessing. The room itself was perfect, it was just as described in the listing. We had a great time in Newport, the location made it easy to walk just about everywhere. This was a mother/son trip to visit the mansions (highly recommend), we will be back and will definitely stay again!

    My husband and I spent a long weekend exploring Newport and this location did not disappoint. Clean and comfortable and close to all of the restaurants and bars. Parking on site was a huge plus as well.

    The place is amazing. Our suite was a perfect size for me, my husband and our 22lb Frenchie. King size bed, a sitting area with couch and chair and a huge walk in shower. Our room was stocked with plenty of coffee pods, mugs, a refrigerator, plenty of towels, washcloths and hand towels. Lots of blankets and pillows too. Full size shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion. Nice size smart TV too. The common areas were spacious and luxurious. Another coffee bar is located on first floor (besides the bar in your room). The kitchen was full stocked with cocktail glasses, wine glasses, several sizes of coffee mugs, pots pans, plates, cutting boards, salad bowls etc. it was nice to be able to make a cocktail and relax. Having an assigned parking space was key to being able to visit spots and easily come back and park. Less than a block to Thames street where all the action is. The place was better than a hotel and the location was right in the middle of the action. Plus they are dog friendly!! 10 ??????????
