SARASOTA Waterfront hotel Room KING BED # 215 ON SARA BAY 7150 N Tamiami Trail

Room was pretty rundown. Many of the wall electrical sockets did not work. Hotel replaced them with a couple electrics strips to be able to use. Unfortunate to not have working electrical plugs at each side of the bed, especially in the day of charging phones. Staff was very nice, breakfast was just OK. Did really enjoy the tiki bar and entertainment in the back. Overall, the price we paid for this hotel made it OK. We had a really good deal from booking on Expedia. If I would’ve paid full price for this hotel. I would’ve been very disappointed.

The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. The view of the water from the room was unmatched. We did have an issue with the TV not working, but our host was able to get us a new TV, which was greatly appreciated.

Staff was very good. We heard the loud noise from the tiki bar after 10:00 PM. Imagine it was supposed to be singing but was overbearing shrieking. Bed was overly hard and noise from aircraft taking off and landing was disturbing.

My 4 night stand was mostly quiet and pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable and a nice comfortable king bed. There’s a bar/restaurant next door and they play music until about 11pm so be prepared to hear loud music but it’s in with reasonable noise when in the room. This is a cheap hotel option so you do have regular hotel guests staying in the other rooms and you might hear people being loud at times but otherwise it’s mostly a quiet place. My only disappointment was that that there’s no elevator and this room is on the second floor and when I booked the room I thought that there would be a elevator because I’m disabled and stairs are difficult for me but otherwise it’s a nice affordable place

Room was very small but adequate for a 2 night stay. It was mostly clean. Kind of noisy but that was probably due to the tiki bar and being very close to the airport with planes flying overhead 24 hours. Facility could definitely use an update. Pool was large and very refreshing in the hot temperatures.

The room is based in the Ramada Sarasota Waterfront hotel. Check-in is standard hotel process, go to front desk, get your key and walk up to your room. Room has updated surfaces, A/C, coffee maker and a dehumidifier. Do not touch the dehumidifier or the drain will come off and flood your floor! Learned this the first night when I bumped into it and woke up to a wet floor. Fixed it and it was fine the rest of my stay. The hotel is South of the Sarasota airport so it's not uncommon to have low flying jets coming in overhead until 11pm. Breakfast is 10 or you can hit any of the local breakfast places. Bar is open late, pool looked nice. Waterfront view and tiki hut was nice to use. The best part of this experience is the price! Cheaper than anything else in the area and the value for what you get is very good. Happy with my stay. Will likely stay again. Bed and pillows were comfy and A/C was good.

Curtains do not fit the window. Plugs don't work by desk and in vanity area. Everything else was fine.

Location is perfect for what we needed, beautiful view as well.

Dated but very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Easy check in and out. Would have liked more coffee available. Would definitely stay again as it was centrally located to all the places I was going.

Perfect for our situation. Good price, comfortable, good location. The light over the sink in the bathroom area needs attention.

Host was supportive and attentive but the room and bathroom is too outdated and old, like old motel vibe. Dehumidifier was in there water all full, so I had to dump 2 times while I stayed for 3 nights. So it wasn’t properly working when we got in the room and smelled moldy almost. Way too loud along with AC I had to turn off while sleeping. Some nights airplane noise was too loud several times waking me up. wish there were more accurate pics to show that I knew what I was getting ahead for what I paid. This was still a hotel right? You can spare some shampoo n conditioner at least? Just small bar soap n small body lotion only. Fyi.

Comfortable room, nice view. Had everything I needed to be comfortable working for the week. Felt safe and would stay again.

Room adequate but on second floor no elevator. Light over sink and makeup area out even after maintenance visit. Inconvenient. Pool and restaurant a pleasant surprise.

The photos did not do the property justice. The view was great and marina is gorgeous. The attached restaurant and bar were phenomenal with great service, food and live music. The pool at the hotel was clean and quiet most of the time. Would definitely stay here again, a steal for the price!!

Loud hotel bar and frequent jets going over hotel. Not a condo, a room in an old hotel. Food drippings on cabinets, bugs under A/C. Not appealing.

We stayed right outside the marina with beautiful views of it and the Tiki bar. Not too far from many attractions…
