In 2003 the Louisa Lodge was constructed in the grounds of the Purbeck House to a design intended to imitate the original house. The vision was to produce a blend between old and new in order to offer residents a choice of contemporary fixtures, and to cater to all our costumers, including families. The design was completed by Morgan and Carey Architects, and features many rooms with towering views of Swanage Bay.
This property is a 4-minute walk from the beach. Nestled in extensive gardens in central Swanage, less than 350 yards from the seafront.
Our modern double bedrooms are light and spacious offering guests a relaxing comfortable stay. All of our double rooms overlook our beautiful Victorian garden. Very large Car Park.

Very convenient location the room was clean very large and comfortable. The room itself was rather dated however it was very quiet and peaceful. The shower pressure was incredible which is great after a day at the beach. I probably wouldn’t bother having the hotel breakfast for an additional fee, however, it didn’t really feel worth it. I would stay here again.

The staff were so friendly, the breakfast was very good with a great selection and some things made to order. The room was large and in a quiet area and decorated nicely. There were some very interesting historic architecture features around the hotel and it was only a few hundred yards from the beach, all the shops and the pier. Would definitely recommend.
