This little inn was lovely! Quiet, clean, and homey. The check in was quick, simple, friendly. The little cafe in the same parking lot had great food. I would definitely stay here again when in the area!
Loved the quaint feel about the place. Decorated very well with the use of vintage pieces. New owners have done a great job at making the place up to date. It was nice without the TV. However, sounds carried from room to room and we could hear conversations in the adjacent rooms as if they were in our room. We would stay here again in a pinch.
Emerald Valley Inn was such a magical experience to unplug, reset, and enjoy the beauty of the Olympic Peninsula..clean, quiet, and so welcoming! I will be back this summer!
This motel is located right on Highway 101, which is the main/only road through this region. This means that it is very heavily traveled, including by large trucks, at all hours of the day and night. It is also attached to a very busy restaurant and ice cream shop that make it difficult to even get into the parking lot and the guest accommodations are very, very near to the crowds waiting for and eating their food. As a result of the traffic and crowds, it is VERY LOUD and not the quiet reprieve advertised on the inn's website. The room itself is quite modest with somewhat dated decor and furnishing. The biggest issue with the room we stayed in was the mattress, whose contours mimicked the mountainous landscape of nearby Olympic National Park: hard peaks on the edges, sloping to a valley, and lots of springs. We were glad that we only stayed here for one night and were happy to leave at the crack of dawn.
It was a clean and quiet place to stay! Cute animals on site as well.
Ok but not next time
This was a perfect cozy location for a quick 2-day tour of the northern half of the park. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and it's location is hard to beat. Owner was quick to respond to questions as well. Hope to stay here again!
Super cute and cozy inn. Easy check in, fun animal friends and a great little breakfast place on the property. Will be returning!
we enjoyed the animals on the property. Emus, donkey, chickens and goats. The food at the restaurant on the property was very good.
Had no idea there would be animals on the property! It was a wonderful surprise. The room was quaint and quiet.
Fell in love with this place. So much beautiful scenery. Cozy and charming room and associated restaurant. Very friendly and hospitable people. ?
We enjoyed our brief stay. This sweet motor lodge felt like a kick back in time. If you are used to the big chain hotels be prepared for a “simpler” stay (no tv, but we knew in advance and were looking forward to a night without). The room was clean and had some nice personal touches (ear plugs for the thin walls, bottled water, etc). We didn’t get to try Grannys, but found the stay a highlight of our trip.
