Stayed Sep 20, 2024This was a beautiful place. Room was clean. Loved the decor. We had everything we could want. Fireplace, mini kitchen, great beds, and our lab. The lake was right there. We could walk to restaurants and a great market.

Stayed Jan 24, 2026This place is incredible, clean, and was cozy for our family of four during a snow storm. It’s recently renovated with great quality. It’s authentically a cabin style lodge, but also a hotel. The rooms we stayed in were upstairs and had the A-frame ceilings and fireplaces and kitchenette without the stove. The size was great, everything was immaculately clean (so much that I don’t understand how it’s pet friendly), and well appointed. When we come back to WISP this will be our first choice hands down. The lobby areas were great for lounging or table games like chess. The parking lot stayed plowed through the storm. The people working here are very friendly and helpful and they have a full bar. Also, the water pressure is very high; great showers.

Stayed Jun 16, 2025Check in was easy. The room was wayyyy too small for 3 people and 3 dogs for the money I was charged. I emailed when we did our booking that I was bringing large dogs and still got a small room. I didnt see a room size when booking. Towel bar came off but they were understanding. People next to us, and many others, had their dogs always off leash which was inconvenient. Checked out a day early. Property itself is gorgeous.

Stayed Apr 11, 2025Our stay at Cove Creek Lodge was brief but very enjoyable. My husband and I appreciated the quality of the room we stayed in and loved how close to the lake it was. The staff was very friendly and checking in and out was very easy. We also liked how close this property is to other things in Deep Creek. We will definitely be back.
