Stayed Dec 24, 2025Honestly, the price for the quality and size of the room is unreasonable. Astonished to find the bed was a double only. Lotion by sink was not filled. Room was clean and orderly. Appreciated the charging equip for phone, etc.

Stayed Oct 1, 2025I enjoyed my 2-day stay at the Block. I love the concept of this place: part hostel, part boutique hotel, part shared workspace, part bar/live music and trivia venue. The staff has done an excellent job of creating a sense of community. I stayed in a queen-bedroom room, while the rooms are small but nice, more like a European budget hotel, the large shared space is perfect for working, a coffee break, eating dinner and connecting with other guests. The Block is very dog-friendly, a huge plus. I definitely recommend the Block for all travelers, but especially women traveling alone.
