Private and Safe 3 bedroom cottage

We have stayed here before and loved it for the housing and the closeness to the parks. This time, we didn't get the preferred units we asked for; but we made do. A carbon monoxide alarm went off in the middle of the night - after calling management, no one ever came to check the faulty fireplace. Asked for a grilling utensil to use the outdoor grill and was told someone would bring it, but it never came. We will give Kings Creek another chance the next time our family visits - we hope things improve.

The rental was a good place for home base while we did some sight seeing...Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown, Busch Gardens, and Water Country.

This is not a rental from an individual. It's part of a time share. Check in people got very rude when I refused to go to their sales program. House was nothing like the pictures and did not have all the amenities listed. Light fixture in the shower was hanging out of the ceiling, one of the toilets wouldn't flush, and the a/c didn't cool one of the upstairs bedrooms, dishwasher falling out of the cabinet if you pulled both racks out. On the positive side, very centrally located to everything we were doing (bush gardens, water country, jamestown, colonial Williamsburg).

We enjoyed this property so much! The only problems were an occasional stopping of the a/c in the main unit and the toilet not working properly in the mother-in-law apt. We will consider staying again in the future.

Recently stayed with my family. The development is beautiful. This particular unit had mediocre furnishings. The couch was dreadfully uncomfortable but otherwise furnishings were comfortable but not aesthetically great. The unit could use some touch up paint and on the last day of our stay, the garbage under the sink was crawling with little ants. Maintenance came right away and sprayed though.

I have only 3 suggestions: 1) Send confirmation letters sooner. I had to email several times; even after my card was charged to obtain a letter with location and address. 2. Keep the property's information updated. I was sure who I was corresponding with a couple of times. Did receive a call to correct my email. 3) if we are checking in a 4pm. I shouldn't have to wait, especially since some of the work had been done for the cleaners.

The online listing does not do this property justice. It’s nicer than we expected! We really enjoyed our stay. Very quiet property. Pools & hot tubs were great. Beds comfortable. I would highly recommend!

This was a great place to stay in. They had everything we needed and even more! My son enjoyed all the activities like swimming and the playground, I wish we could’ve just spent a day or two here at the resort. The cottage itself was very clean. The furniture needs updating but the full kitchen and appliances were great!! I would definitely stay here again.

This estate was perfect for our family of three and In-Laws. They had their own apartment so they could join us or have privacy. Both units were clean, nice and had comfortable beds. The only suggestion that I would make is to add towel bars to all bathrooms. I was weary as the communication with the owner/ property manager was sketchy. However, everything turned out well.
