Stayed Feb 28, 2022Marriott always offers nice properties and plentiful amenities. The Villas II are no exception. The general location and area attractions are great. We were very pleased with our stay, but a few things were a bit bothersome. First. I asked at least three times in my messages to the host, John, about the villa's location and proximity to the main part of the resort (use of pools, restaurants, etc.). He never answered this question! Once we arrived, we felt he had avoided the question because the villas are not even close to the main part of the property. There was shuttle transport but we were not informed of this, and also discovered upon arriving that we only had resort privileges certain days of the week. None of this would have necessarily changed our minds about staying here, but renters need to be given the full picture of what they are/are not getting. That said, we had a great stay with everything we needed, including a nice, quiet pool on-site and a very friendly and responsive front desk staff! Palm Springs is a lovely destination!
