Stayed Jul 20, 2025We got to the property and they did not have our reservations. The agent put in the wrong dates . Nothing else available. We were in Kauai 5000 miles from home with nowhere to stay. The resort had 1 room available for one night and overcharged us to stay there.Luckily my father was able to get us 2 rooms at the outrigger resort a great place by the way and our vacation was saved.

Stayed Jul 22, 2023We had stayed at this resort many times in the past so knew it would be fabulous. However, I'd never booked through VRBO before and was a bit nervous. There was no reason to be - everything was seamless. I would not hesitate to book with this owner in the future and the property is perfect for any range of ages. We have been with our kids when very little, elementary aged and now as teens - it was perfect every time. We have also been with grandparents who also loved the property. It really is the perfect set up for everybody.

Stayed Jan 22, 2023We found the location very accessible for all of us—retirees, one of which is wheelchair bound. All the pools and jacuzzis provided enjoyment for everyone with hoyer-style lifts.

Stayed Jun 24, 2022Very good location on the island. Very good floor plan, especially for four. Kitchen had everything to dine in while property had resort amenities. Room location views are the only potential negative. Super happy with how this worked out!

Stayed Apr 2, 2022Marriot is first class, but the property manager for this unit lied about it being ocean view, was unresponsive to questions about checking in, and was unresponsive to calls about charging for ocean view. If you don’t care about ocean view the place is great.

Stayed Mar 19, 2022This was our first time in Kauai and this was the perfect landing spot for us. The grounds were amazing, access to the beach and all activities couldn’t have been better, and the villa was lovely. Having our own kitchen made a huge difference for us. If there was one thing in that could have been better it would be having a few more kitchen staples onsite (oil, vinegar, a few spices). It felt wasteful to have to buy them just to use a small portion. Otherwise it was perfect in every way!

Stayed Mar 8, 2020Marriott's Waiohai Beach Club was the perfect place for a family get away. My kids range from 2 to 15 so it's an impressive feat to please everyone without even having to leave the property! Bart, the manager of concierge services, was amazing and his suggestions made our trip fantastic. The beach was fabulous and in walking distance, the pools were amazing and the grounds were very easy to enjoy. There were lawn games and walk ways surrounded by lush tropical Hawaiian flora and fauna. I think I will try to reserve a beach front or ground level Hale next time, but we will certainly be back!
