Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a lovely time in Sedona and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bell Rock Inn. The staff was very friendly and informative, the suite was clean, very well organized, and it had everything we needed to cook. The suite was also very spacious and the hotel grounds were also impecable. Our family enjoyed the pool and the outside chess set. The hotel staff gave us a great overview of the city and some insight on good places to eat and visit during our stay. I would highly recommend Bell Rock Inn and we will go back to this hotel next time we go to Sedona.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I wish I had better things to say about Diamond resorts. Here is the good, the bad and the ugly. While Sedona is a remarkably beautiful place, and this resort is near some of this beauty its simply on the wrong side of the road. Our view of the Bell and the Courthouse was ruined by the parking lot full of construction trailers, the McDonalds sign and the busy highway in the foreground. The magic feel of eating breakfast on the balcony in front of red rock formations loses its appeal when traffic is whizzing by 25 feet away. The reason they won't promise a view is that very few rooms have a decent one. The manager even admitted as much to me. While the room prices may be relatively cheap for Sedona, I consider their wording about the views a bait and switch. We got there late the first night only to find that we had been bumped from a one bedroom to an efficiency. The night manager told us we were to be not charged for the first night, but instead of keeping their word, staff barged right through the door at 9 AM with a quick knock, key and 5 seconds later he was looking at my girlfriend in her birthday suit. He looks her right in the face, says sorry and walks out the door. What kind of training does that staff have to walk in like that at 9 AM? When I told the manager what happened she never even apologized. I told her she wan't going to like my review and here it is! So then we have to move after the first night to get into a one bedroom, which was an inconvenience. They refused to keep their word and comp the first night.. When I complained that they didn't keep their word, they offered to refund a $30 resort fee and gave a $50 gift certificate for use only at their sister resort's restaurant. I would have been OK with that if they hadn't promised something better first. Again BAIT AND SWITCH! I just got the impression that customer service is a low priority. It was spring break, they were booked, taking the $, and not giving the love. The rooms are OK for the money, but nothing more. The water pressure so low it took 20-25 minutes to run the tub and the heating systems are loud and obnoxious. I won't go back... Still gave them two stars in all fairness...
