We stayed two nights and it was perfect for what we wanted. The location was perfect to visit a number of different towns and attractions in the Galena area. The staff was nice and although we did not use all the amenities it was nice they were there. This will be a top choice when we come back for another visit.
Awesome weekend- Great view, jacuzzi tub, and fireplace
It was a quiet small space. We enjoyed the quiet and the balcony. The shower was small, but the water pressure was amazing. The tub would have been great if it had non slip mats or something. It was nice to relax in though. We did not find the murphy bed comfortable and had trouble sleeping each night. My husband ended up kn the couch in the middle of the night. We appreciate the last minute accommodation fro. the owner! Thank you!
the shower was too small
This was an amazing place to stay for a fun Galena weekend! Far exceeded my expectations. Extremely clean, bathtub with the fireplace over it was amazing. Front desk staff were friendly and available for anything we needed. We were greeted every time we walked in. We definitely hope to be back one day!
Beautiful setting with short drive to Galena. Tried out the restaurants in area and many wineries within easy driving. Farmers' Market on Sunday close by. The studio was as described in listing. Well equipped with dishes and more in kitchenette. The see through fireplace that looked into the bathroom was somewhat disconcerting. A towel fixed the peep. Indoor pool was nice with hot tub. The property is part of Wyndam and could use a little TLC in the pool area as the waterfall was non-functioning and the waterfall wall had a rusty residue on it. The gathering room was being used for storage so could not be used for family gathering. Perhaps the owners group could remedy. Many small towns nearby to explore and if you are interested in antiques there are many stores to browse. The antique school house in Elizabeth was best from our viewpoint. Relaxing weekend. Thx for sharing your property.
Really enjoyed the studio size and amenities—perfect for a long weekend getaway with my wife. Best part? Very little cell service so we were able to really unplug!
We loved staying at Longhollow Inn in Galena, Illinois. Our studio room was perfect. Our first time sleeping on a Murphy bed and it was very comfortable. Love the private balcony. The only thing we would have liked is a screen on the patio door. We will definitely stay here again!
The can lights kept blinking off. The wrong kind of bulbs were used and shut off when hot.
The room was very clean and had a nice little balcony. The jetted tub was a relaxing way to end the day after a long drive. The front desk was also very accommodating. I would stay here again and definitely recommend to friends.
