Guests enter Parkside by walking up a half flight of exterior stairs to the front door on this end unit. Once you enter the villa, you will find a renovated kitchen; a dining area that comfortably seats 4 people; and a living room with spacious seating, terrific views of Night Heron Park and access to the covered and screened porches. The primary suite, hallway bathroom and guest bedroom are located off of the dining area. Washing machine and dryer are located in the closet in the kitchen. Off-street parking on the parking lot for up to 2 cars is included in the rental rate.

    Definitely not worth 500 night. Tons of cobwebs in porch, more like cabin on the woods. Needs further updating. Floor needs replacing, soft spots throughout house

    Great place to stay!! Excellent location. Few steps away from Night heron where all the activity is and right on the bike path! We have been going to Kiawah for years and probably one of the best locations especially if you have children. Place was clean.

    Pro- we love Kiawah island and have been before and were excited for this trip. Con- The apartment- no blinds on the large sliders. Found some dead ants and toilet paper on the bed. Management- We have been really looking to getting away with our dog and enjoying this beautiful area but it was challenging to get into this mindset. My husband and I were appalled by the unwillingness of this management company to work with us on either receiving a refund or rescheduling our trip. We are from the Asheville, NC area which was just devastated by Hurricane Helene on September 27th. It took over a week for our power to return and even longer for stable cell service in which this company informed me that I should have contacted them sooner to reschedule or receive a refund. To reiterate- we did not have power or reliable cell service to do this due to hurricane devastating our area. To add insult to injury- they wished us safe travels to Kiawah Island even though I asked to cancel our trip. They offered dates to reschedule that was one week later and the middle of the week in November. They refused to offer me any dates beyond that. So unfortunately we had no choice but to travel and go on this trip. Originally this weekend was chosen because my husband had off on Monday, but due to the storm, was now required to return to work on Monday and this company refused to even refund us for ONE NIGHT. I hope this company can take this review and really reflect on their policies.

    Too many bugs mostly flying ants that come out of the vents at night. The whole time we were there they swarmed at night. Kids had a meltdown and left to stay with friends in the same complex with no bugs. Owners were aware of infestation but did not pass that knowledge along to renters. Very poor and left early. A very poor representation for VBRO.

    Our Parkside Villa was very comfortable and clean. Perfect location, near Night Heron Park where there was always fun, FREE, activities for kids and adults, as well as The Nest, a very cool little market right there, too. The beach was only a 6-7 minute walk, or 2 minutes by bike. The villa had all the amenities we needed and then some. Everyone was so friendly and laid back. We will definitely be back!! Thank you to the itrip hosts for making everything so easy!!
