Vintage 1930 Art Suite Featured on HGTV

Great hosts, Clean, cozy and peaceful suite! Had everything we needed and more!

Normally I don’t give full stars on everything but the stay was so great. John and Ramon were so kind and easy to chat with. Clean house and yard as well perfect for our old Lab that came with us. Thanks again guys.

Ramon is a helpful and gracious host. The accommodations are well-appointed and comfortable. While I did not speak with Jon, his very unique art work is all over the place and adds a uniqueness you won't find at other places. And, of course, Lady is a joyful, friendly, four-legged greeting party!

We absolutely loved our stay. The artwork was fabulous and we bought a print on the way out. Great hosts, beautiful space. Will def stay again if we get to Laurel again.

Very cute place, roomy and easy parking. Very comfortable bed, private entrance, washer and dryer available. Only thing I would have liked was control of thermostat. We got a little hot during the night. But I’d definitely recommend and I would stay again if I’m ever this way. Good hosts.

Is is a very lovely property. Friendly host and a great yard. Very spacious for a one bedroom property.

The host was there to greet us upon arrival. Very friendly and gave us suggestions for what to see and when, where to dine, etc. Cute little cottage. You have to be ok with a small space, there's no living room to hang out in but the porch is great for sitting and enjoying your morning coffee. You can also walk around the garden and yard. We only stayed one night and were out and about most of it. You have to be ok with no shower too but we knew that going into it and made the tub work. Comfortable bed, coffee provided, fun decor - lots of interesting art in the walls by the artistic host - colorful illustration, paintings and sculptures.

Our stay was short, but wonderful! The place is cozy and quite charming! Meeting with Ramon was lovely, and Lady greeted us for pets and loves! The covered porch is perfect for an evening sit or morning coffee. Highly recommend!

What a lovely place the Gingerbird Suite turned out to be! Every detail creates a cozy welcoming environment that makes this stop a must do in Laurel! The bed was so comfy, the yard was perfect for my pup and the porch is as wonderful as the picture shows! We were traveling from DC to Texas and this was a great respite from the journey. Jon, Ramon and Lady are the ultimate hosts and I highly recommend staying at their place!

The house was delightful and the bed was super-comfy. Jon and Ramon welcomed us to the property and gave us great advice on a dinner spot. Lady, the sweet dog, also said hello. We enjoyed walking through the garden rooms outside while having a nice cup of coffee. One of the hosts is a talented artist with a distinctive style that is very thought-provoking, and we enjoyed the opportunity to see his work.

This property is so much more than a place to lay your head. Ramon and Jon were friendly and hospitable and made it feel like our home away from home. Our bed was heaven and not only were the accommodations comfortable and so clean but the front porch was the perfect place to share a glass of wine after a long day of travel. We just made a cross country move and Laurel was a great halfway point for us. We were pretty nervous about pulling a trailer for the first time and then to our surprise we were able to pull right in and pull through the next morning when it was time to leave. No backing up! What a relief! I’m so glad to have found a quiet and safe place to stop over on our next two-day road trip. It helps that our dog, Walter, was able to enjoy a fun yard and playtime with Lady as well after being coupled up all day in the car. The luscious gardens were truly the icing on the cake as I loved wondering through them and learning about all them. If you’re looking for a VRBO experience as well as quaint accommodations, look no further!

We love staying here!It's such a homey and friendly place! We've stayed here several times and have enjoyed every visit! Ramon and Jon offer great conversation and really make you feel right at home.

The place was beautiful. Great hosts. We had a fantastic time. My dog Max was happy to meet Lady, and we enjoyed her visit.

Our dog Rudy enjoyed being shown around the yard by Lady. Ramon was considerate and put a water bowl on the porch & even provided a dog bed. House was spotless, bed comfy & porch relaxing. Had a great meal at The Loft which was Ramon’s suggestion. Great hosts & suite. Definitely recommend.

One night stay just right

What a cute little home! We stayed overnight and had everything we needed. The property is so well taken care of - pretty flowers and trees everywhere! A nice little porch to relax on when the weather is right. The inside was perfect size for a couple - nice comfy queen bed - claw foot tub, perfect for soaking after a warm day exploring. Wish we could have stayed longer to relax in the serene yard... Ramon answered all our questions and he and his partner were so nice! We also enjoyed visiting with Lady and she welcomed our Marlee to the property!

This quaint little retreat on the outskirts of downtown was just perfect! The space was cozy and quiet. The art is masterful and unique. The back porch is where we sat, relaxed, and enjoyed the garden, the plants, and our mini-hostess Lady! Jon and Ramon were absolutely charming and welcoming. But the best party of all was having my best friend, the love of my life, my forever and always, ask me to share the rest of my life with her. Without hesitation I said yes! Jon and Ramon were so sweet to help with the surprise making everything absolutely perfect! A destination we will definitely be returning to!

As shown, very convenient to town, 5th Ave goes straight in. Owners were very friendly, responsive & helpful with recommendations. Great yard for our dog too!

The property was beautiful and so relaxing! Sitting on the porch with the plants and beautiful flowers with butterflies and birds flitting about was very peaceful. Ramon and Jon were very accommodating with a late checkout and helping us “old timers” figure out the tv remote! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud and we had everything needed to make our stay comfortable. Ramon and Jon were very friendly while giving us the privacy we needed. However, our favorite host was probably their lab, Lady! She was so sweet and welcoming! They offered places to eat and sites to see. We would highly recommend their place and would definitely stay there again!

Small but cute loved the porch and ability for our pug dog to run around the yard. Lady (owner dog)was so loving and played outside with pug. No cooking has microwave mucr

The Gingerbird Art Studio is the quaintest little slice of heaven. It’s such a welcoming little place to stay. I was greeted by Ramon upon my arrival and later in the evening I got to meet Jon as well. Lady was around the garden that night. Such a cozy home away from home! Jon, Ramon & Lady are the best hosts and I hope to come back for a longer stay next time.
