This two bedroom, two bath family-size suite features a remarkable view of downtown Bryson City and the Great Smoky Mountains.

The 880 square-foot 5-room suite is decorated in a distinctive mountain theme. It features exquisite decor including hand-made, log tables and lamps built by a 70 year old Amish gentleman, Indian art, wood carvings and decorations that give this suite a genuine mountain feel.

This suite is located on the top floor of the newly renovated Carriage House, in a stand alone building adjacent to the main Calhoun House. This suite is easily accessed, without climbing stairs, by driving up a 1 lane road (Wheeler St.) behind the main Calhoun House that dead ends at the front door of the Tree House suite with ample parking for 4 cars. It has a private entrance and 300 square feet of covered porches offering our guests plenty of space to sit, relax and rock in one of our many rocking chairs and enjoy the quiet serenity and view of the Great Smoky Mountains.

The Tree House Suite features:

The Treehouse Suite at The Calhoun House is a great property. This particular suite is located in a separate building from the other suites, which was ideal for us, as we had our baby and toddler with us. We did not worry about disturbing other guests if he cried or was a little loud. Edward was amazing as we checked in. He had some food essentials in the refrigerator and had some scrumptious treats from the local bakery. The suite was well stocked with toiletries and kitchen supplies and was very clean. We stayed here while visiting the Polar Express train. The location was ideal to walk to the train station. We also walked to various places on Saturday. We would stay here again when planning a trip to Bryson City.
