Private Nature Getaway in the Pines

The host and the property was beyond expectation. If looking for peace and quiet but would like to go out and about to have some fun this is the place to be!!!!

Unique place with lots of natural light. Lots of room to lounge on the wrap-around deck. The walking trails behind are a lot of fun to explore. Wish we could have stayed for a month!

Loved the property! It was so cozy and amazing , wish I could’ve stayed longer . The property is so beautiful being out in the woods of flagstaff reminded me a lot of where I grew up and it was much needed for a peaceful getaway. Communication with the host was so easy and she was so friendly and helpful when I had questions. Definitely recommend if you want a peaceful escape:)

Overall an excellent accommodation. Exterior and surrounding neighborhood could use some sprucing up. Lacie was very accommodating and helpful. Great location and saw a herd of elk nearby. Loved the feel of the yurt which was filled with all of the necessities and lots of extras.

Peaceful. Lacey supplies everything except firewood and groceries, and while we didn't use everything, we certainly appreciate all the extras that truly made it feel like we were home. I am grateful that this is a pet-friendly property and that we were able to do our laundry.

Had an amazing stay in the best little yurt! My husband and kids were at peace in the very quiet and beautiful setting! We will certainly be back when more snow comes around and definitely extend our stay next time!

My husband & I enjoyed our time together at the Nature Getaway in the Pines, Nov. 7th-11th. We enjoyed our walks around the property area. We loved the kitchen & use of washer & dryer! Our only complaint would have to be the pillows. And this is personal likes. I kinda “felt” like Goldilocks …they were either too hard or so soft that when I put 2 pillows together in the case, it was still too soft. The harder pillows made our necks hurt, but again, these are personal preferences. We would definitely stay here again! Lacey was super to deal with & always quick to respond to any questions!

The yurt was wonderful! I felt right at home when I entered. Lots of light, tastefully decorated, very peaceful and quiet. The kitchen had what I needed with plenty of counter space. Even though I didn’t use it, the wrap around porch was very inviting. It was great being in the woods yet close to everything. Fortunately I didn’t have a problem with the dirt roads. Lacey was quick to respond to any questions. Check in and out was easy. I’m looking forward to my next stay!

We absolutely loved our stay, clean comfortable, felt like home. We loved the skylights and the wood stove but it really only got cool enough for a small fire one night, the temperature inside was always comfortable. Everything we needed was available. Thank you for sharing your home.

This yurt offers the perfect private getaway, quiet, cozy, and relaxing. The washer and dryer were a welcome bonus, since many vacation rentals don’t include them. The skylights, both by day and at night, made the stay even more special.

Delightful! Loved the spaciousness, location, and quiet. Beautifully decorated. Clean and well appointed. Spent much of my time lying on the couch on the deck listening to the wind in the pine trees. Went on many hike/walks and forest service trails close by. Perfect place for quiet and solace. Lacey thought of everything and I did not want for a thing (except more time!) Will definitely book again.

What a gem! The property was spotless, the owner was responsive and accommodating, and the location is phenomenal. The entire trip was flawless! Five stars aren’t enough.

We enjoyed our stay. The yurt was closer to the next property than expected. It did not cause an issue for us. Communication with the property manager was excellent.

Clean & Comfortable. We saw a herd of about 60 Elk while sitting on the back deck having our morning coffee!

We were looking for a place to spend a week out of the city and out in nature. The yurt in the pines fit the bill perfectly. We were surrounded by tall pines and the accommodations were excellent. We spent our week relaxing on the large deck and comfy living room couches. There's many trails for walking among the pines . We highly recommend a stay here.

It is just like going to your own cabin in Flagstaff in the woods. All the bells and whistles you need. Easy to communicate with owner and easy to find on your gps. Hope we can go again

What a VRBO. Feels like you are out in the middle of the forest, yet only 3 minutes from town. Clean comfortable and a deck that you can spend all day on. Cant wait to go back in the winter.

We had a wonderful time. Everything was exactly as it was shown on the rental information. The location was perfect, nice and quiet. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, and we barbequed on the beautiful deck every night. Was able to see a heard of elk in the morning. Close enough to town, but still nice and quiet and secluded. We will definitely be going back.

Loved the seclusion of the property location. Yurt is on the same property as a house (long term rental) but peaceful nonetheless. Perfect for 2 - could sleep 4 as the couch converts. Updated inside, nicely done. After a good part of the days exploring, spent a good deal of time on the partially covered deck enjoying the cooler weather and peacefulness. Plenty of space around to take some walks just taking it all in. Mattress was ok, but should probably be replaced. Sagged a bit in the middle, so with 2 people you kinda feel like you roll into each other. Definitely recommend

We loved it there .. would love to live there .. my son and grandkids were only a few mins away .. so quiet and enjoyed the sky lights in bedroom when laying in bed can see the full moon ... my grandkids loved it there too ...

Comfortable and cozy beautiful wooded views around property. Clean and welcoming. My wife and i will book this place again in the future maybe winter when it is snowing.

Our stay was a great experience. Inside, the yurt was clean and comfortable after we turned on a few fans and opened the windows to let the wind blow through. We used the mobile AC unit as well. It wasn’t as private as anticipated. It sits on the property of another house that is in close proximity, but the pine breezes on the deck were amazing.

The yurt is a great place that's perfect for a couple. It has all the amenities you'd ever need and is very private. Communication was great and super fast.

Unique style cabin in the round. Comfortable. Hiking trails behind the property. Loved the views of the stars through the bedroom skylights. Kitchen is perfect, gas stove, stocked with pans and utensils. We stayed for a long weekend. Convenient but quiet location, about 15 minutes from Museum of Northern Arizona, Flagstaff Arboretum, other hiking trails, and restaurants.

The Yurt was a great get away for two. We enjoyed a glass of wine on the deck and made dinner two of three nights. The kitchen is small but pretty well appointed. Recommend.

We really enjoyed the surroundings and peace and quiet. Saw deer and elk and were just outside the city. But it was easy to get into Flagstaff and also was an easy drive to the Grand Canyon and Sedona. The owner was extremely responsive to any questions. We would highly recommend a stay there.

The Yurt is well decorated and has a warm vibe, with nice wood floors and trim and an exceptional bathroom and kitchen and gives a nice out of the way feel but lacks where it counts. The worn out mattress should have been discarded long long ago and has no place in a vacation rental. We discovered into the first night that the bedroom didn't have heat ducts, which was why there were space heaters in the closet. After getting out of bed and trying several outlets, we found one in the living room that worked. The heralded view of the back deck was another disappointment as the view consisted of a propane tank and dog kennel with various garden hoses, cinder blocks and pallets strewn about. It's a shame because the owners had put a lot of money into the kitchen, but the flatware and such consisted of an assortment of unwanted left behind mismatched castoffs. With a few tweaks and proper preparation for a guest arrival, this property could be easily turned around.

This cabin was amazing and has no backside neighbors awesome for hiking and adventures

We love this place, so quiet and peaceful, just the way we like it. The weather was a bit cooler than we anticipated, but not an issue. Over all, we enjoyed our stay and our dog had a blast running all around inside and out.

We wanted a cabin in the woods get-away, and this is definitely it! We loved the construction of the yurt and the high ceilings, multiple skylights and wood-burning stove. So relaxing and fun!

The location was nice and quiet and away from the streets, but still not too far away from the city and lots of restaurants and activities to do around the area. The road that turns off from the main road to off-road that leads to the property is easily missed if not paying attention though, would suggest people to be careful of that.

The location is in a quiet area right outside of Flagstaff. Loved that we could access the Arizona Trail right off the backyard.

Exceeded all expectations. I had an amazing experience. There were snacks and goodies waiting upon arrival. The host was very informative and generous. It’s actually bigger than it looks in the photos. Will definitely book again and do recommend it!

It was my first time staying in a yurt. The place is very charming, clean and has all the comforts of home. I will definitely go back and stay here.

Beautiful location, well stocked with coffee, tea, blankets annd outright comfort! It was reaching chilly when we arrived and poured down rain in the night and early morning - shortly followed by snow. Easy to stay in !

The property was awesome, tucked away from the main road and surrounded By trees. Tall windows in the living room, along with the skylight and the bedroom skylight gave you a feeling of being outside. We brought our small pet With us and she loved it also. The best vacation I ever had thank you.

A very nice, well appointed, Yurt in the woods. Quiet with lots of trails to walk on through the woods. Windows all around added to the ability to enjoy the outdoors. Look forward to being able to stay here again.

Very clean and quiet. Far enough away from flagstaff but not to far so you miss the events there

Second time here. Saw deer, Steller jay’s, hummingbirds, squirrels, crows and lots of wildlife that keep us entertained. Spent a lot of time sitting outside on the porch. It got a little colder than anticipated and we didn’t have warmer clothing. No worries, there were thick blankets available which allowed us to spend a lot of time outdoors. Still impressed how close to supermarkets and town yet it’s quiet and peaceful. Communication with Lacey is superb. Some maintenance needed to be done in the property and we had heads up all the time. There is a new bed that is super comfy. The best thing is that about anything that you might need is already there. A lot of attention to details make it so enjoyable! We will be back!

I traveled from Surprise with my standard poodle ( service dog) I am a senior citizen and was just wanting a few day escape from horrid desert temperatures. It was a great experience. I also enjoyed not having to drive a very long way to it. We walked a couple paths and enjoyed the peacefulness and the awesome patio. Thank you Yvonne and lady Lola

We truly enjoyed our stay. We selected this area as a respite from the extreme heat of the valley. Our first impression upon entering the yurt was how well built, clean, and lovely it was. As mentioned in other reviews there is a basket of goodies on the table to peruse through. We were visited by a herd of moose and watched a wonderful thunderstorm that brought rain and hail! We plan on returning.

So cozy, very clean and so well stocked. Lots of extras!

We had a wonderful time at the Yurt! We needed a place to stay for three nights while we were having new floors put in our house in the Phoenix Area. We were able to bring our kitty and had a nice respite from the heat. It was wonderful just to sit on the deck every afternoon and evening and listen to the wind blow thru the pines at 20 degrees cooler than the temps in Phoenix. We will be back again for another get away from the heat! Oh, and Lacey was great to work with!!!

The cabin and location were both great. So nice to sit out on the patio and enjoy the cool air and pines. Cabin was well furnished with a great kitchen. We had an excellent stay. Thank you.

Lovely and comfortable. Great place to relax! Wonderful wrap-around porch! Several easily walkable trails through the woods. The house was about 2 miles down a dirt road but still only minutes from good restaurants and shopping. Would stay again!

Laceys yurt was a wonderful space to beat the Phoenix heat! Beautiful surroundings, great views and really quiet. Lots of trees and gorgeous meadows greeted us as we drove down the dirt road. It was clise to Downtown Flagstaff for sightseeing and meals. I would recommend it to anyone for a nice quiet getawsy!
