Stayed Oct 29, 2025The Guest House was an amazing place to stay! It wasn’t hot at all, even without an air conditioner it stayed really cool in the night. During the day, it was the perfect little quiet slice of heaven (or Hawai’i!). I will be booking with Laura and Aki the next time I visit the big island!

Stayed Aug 12, 2024The guest house was the perfect stay for us. It was private, spacious, fully equipped with all you could need and tastefully decorated. The grounds were beautiful and well manicured. We were able to enjoy our days out at the beach and then come back and enjoy a meal from the grill. Having a washer/dryer was another great addition.

Stayed Dec 1, 2022Very nice place in a somewhat remote area, although there are neighbors. Small but comfortable house, excellent patio, and very beautiful yard, bordered by jungle. Feel asleep to the songs of the coqui frogs every night. Good market and shops in Pahoa, about 15 minutes drive. Hilo is close to 30 minutes away. A problem with the water came up a the day before our stay, but Aki and Laura had it taken care of before we arrived, and communicated very well. Very happy with the way they handled the unexpected situation. Great hosts!

Stayed Nov 15, 2022Our experience was amazing from the first contact I had with the property. Aki & Laura made sure we had good instructions on getting to the property and access our guest house. Everything was clean and my granddaughters loved playing in the large yard and they had so many toys to keep them plenty busy.
